  • Publication number: 20240175978
Abstract: An electronic device includes transmission antennas, reception antennas, and an electronic component. The transmission antennas each transmit a transmission wave. The reception antennas each receive a reflected wave that is the transmission wave having been reflected. The electronic component outputs respective transmission signals to the transmission antennas and receive respective reception signals from the reception antennas. The electronic component has a first edge where transmission terminals that output the respective transmission signals to the transmission antennas are arranged, and a second edge where reception terminals that receive the respective reception signals from the reception antennas are arranged. At least one of the first edge or the second edge is located obliquely relative to at least one of a direction in which respective feeding points of the transmission antennas are arranged or a direction in which respective feeding points of the reception antennas are arranged.

  • Publication number: 20240176015
Abstract: An electronic device includes a transmission unit that transmits a transmission wave from a transmission antenna; a reception unit that receives, from a reception antenna, a reflected wave of the transmission wave; a controller that detects an object that reflects the transmission wave; a power supply device that supplies electric power to at least any of the foregoing components; and a substrate having the foregoing components thereon. The transmission and reception antennas are disposed on a first surface of the substrate. The controller and the power supply device are disposed on a second surface of the substrate opposite to the first surface. The substrate includes a waveguide that guides the transmission wave and/or the reflected wave between the first and second surfaces and is covered with an electromagnetic wave shielding member apart from the second surface by a distance of ΒΌ of a wavelength of the transmission or reflected wave.

  • Patent number: 11977142
Abstract: An electronic device comprises: a transmission antenna configured to transmit transmission waves; a reception antenna configured to receive reflected waves resulting from reflection of the transmission waves; and a controller. The controller is configured to detect an object reflecting the transmission waves, based on a transmission signal transmitted as the transmission waves and a reception signal received as the reflected waves. The controller is configured to make a range of detection of the object by the transmission signal and the reception signal, variable.

  • Patent number: 11940523
Abstract: An electronic device includes a transmission antenna that transmits a transmission wave, a reception antenna that receives a reflected wave that is the reflected transmission wave, and a control unit that detects an object that reflects the transmission wave, based on a transmission signal transmitted as the transmission wave and a reception signal received as the reflected wave. The electronic device transmits, to an information processing apparatus, sensing information based on the transmission signal and the reception signal at a location of the electronic device along with location information of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 8936310
Abstract: A headrest including: a headrest body that supports a head portion of an occupant; a pair of side frame sections that supports the headrest body, the side frame sections extending along a seat height direction and disposed at a separation from each other along a seat width direction; and an inclined wall portion that is provided between the side frame sections, that is inclined towards a seat front-rear direction front side with respect to the side frame sections such that a lower end portion of the inclined wall portion is positioned further to the seat front-rear direction front side than an upper end portion of the inclined wall portion, and that bears load acting on the headrest body from a seat front-rear direction rear side.

  • Patent number: 8632125
Abstract: There is provided a headrest device including: a headrest main body that is provided at an upper end portion of a seat back of a seat in which a passenger sits; a pressure/flexure detecting section that is provided at a vehicle front side of the seat back; a headrest moving section; and a control section that estimates a current back-set, that is a distance between a head portion of a passenger and the headrest main body in a horizontal direction, on the basis of at least one of pressure and flexure detected by the pressure/flexure detecting section and a predetermined relationship between back-set and the at least one of pressure and flexure, and controls the headrest moving section to move the headrest main body such that the back-set becomes a predetermined amount.

  • Patent number: 8596715
Abstract: A headrest device comprises a headrest body which includes a headrest rear portion supported with respect to a seatback of a seat on which a passenger of a vehicle sits, and a headrest front portion that is movable within a predetermined range from a fully closed position that is closest to the headrest rear portion to a fully open position that is farthest from the headrest rear portion; a detection unit which detects a running state or an operation state of the vehicle; a prediction unit which predicts a possibility of a rear vehicle collision with the vehicle on the basis of the running state or the operation state of the vehicle detected by detection unit; and a control unit which controls, in a case in which the possibility of the rear vehicle collision is predicted by the prediction unit, movement of a position of the headrest front portion so that a backset becomes smaller than a backset at the time of the prediction, the backset being a horizontal distance between the headrest front portion and a head
