Abstract: An authentication registration/invalidation apparatus is provided, which allows easy invalidation of an authentication tag when the authentication tag is lost, and facilitates management of authentication tags. When an RFID reader (2) receives an RFID signal including an instruction of invalidation, which is transmitted from an operation tag (10b) in a recognition area (A), an invalidation unit (32b) sets an operation mode to an invalidation enabled mode. If an RFID tag recognizer (31a) recognizes an authentication tag (10a) before or after the setting of the invalidation enabled mode, the invalidation unit 32b invalidates the authentication tag (10a), or invalidates all authentication tags (10a) that belong to a group to which the authentication tag belongs.

Abstract: A method for color development of a crustacean in a fresh state, comprising the steps of: treating a crustacean such as a lobster or a crab, in which a shell thereof is left as it is or removed, with an alkaline aqueous solution having a pH value in a range of from 10 to 14 to thereby develop the red color of a carotenoid pigment; and the treating the crustacean with an aqueous solution of an edible acid, such as an acetic acid, to thereby perform neutralization.

Abstract: A passive tank stabilizer is mounted on a watergoing vessel in the athwartship direction for counteracting the roll of the vessel so that the vessel can be stabilized. The passive tank stabilizer comprises at least two tanks or two holders obtained by dividing one tank into two parts, with the tanks or the holders having different space volume and containing quantities of stabilizing liquid such as water. The passive tank stabilizer is capable of producing stabilizing effects over a wide range of roll frequencies of the vessel.

Abstract: In the preparation of diaminomaleonitrile by polymerization of hydrogen cyanide, the improvement which comprises employing, as a reaction solvent, at least one mononitrile compound selected from the group consisting of saturated aliphatic mononitriles containing 2 to 4 carbon atoms, methacrylonitrile and aromatic mononitriles.
