    Abstract: Provided is a scanner system includes a laser scanner and a remote controller thereof. The remote controller includes a guide light transmitting unit. The laser scanner includes a guide light receiving unit for detecting the guide light transmitting unit. The laser scanner directs the optical axis of distance-measuring light to the guide light transmitting unit based on a light reception signal and set a data exclusion range with reference to the direction of the guide light transmitting unit. The laser scanner re-measures point cloud data of the data exclusion range in accordance with a measurement permission from the remote controller upon measuring point cloud data of an entire measurement range, and deletes the point cloud data of the data exclusion range from the point cloud data of an entire measurement range, and replacing the deleted data with remeasured point cloud data to acquire entire point cloud data.
