The ground pattern on the front surface is connected to another ground pattern on the rear surface of the circuit board. The spacer is composed of a conductive material. The conductive surface of the membrane, the ground pattern on the front surface of the circuit board, and the spacer are electrically conducted. The electrode pattern is disposed between the conductive surface of the membrane and the other ground pattern on the rear surface of the circuit board.

The projection is folded to be pressed firmly against the outer surface of a casing of the capacitor microphone unit. The shield plate is rolled into a cylindrical shape and is in contact with the inner surface of the microphone casing with pressure.

A groove portion 5 is formed in the inner circumferential surface of the connection member along the circumferential direction, and the leading ends of the supporting pipe and the electrical insulating member inserted into the connection member are fitted to the groove portion while the diameters thereof are expanded.
