  • Patent number: 11820166
Abstract: An improved data bearing card includes a card body, personalization data unique to the data bearing card, and non-visible production indicia, separate from the personalization data, disposed on the card body and indicative of production-related information not otherwise provided on the data bearing card. The non-visible production indicia may be indicative of a corresponding piece of production equipment and/or an operator thereof utilized in connection with the data bearing card, or of a location of a corresponding region of a sheet assembly from which the corresponding card body was separated during production, or of other production-related information. The non-visible production indicia facilitates remedial action in the event that a defect or near-defect is found in the card body or other components of the data bearing card, and may otherwise facilitate card tracking during the production process.

  • Patent number: 11790181
Abstract: A current observation expressed in natural language is received. Entities in the current observation are extracted. A relevant historical observation is retrieved, which has at least one of the entities in common with the current observation. The current observation and the relevant historical observation are combined as observations. The observations and a template list specifying a list of verb phrases to be filled-in with at least some of the entities are input to a neural network, which can output the template list of the verb phrases filled-in with said at least some of the entities. The neural network can include attention mechanism. A reward associated with the neural network's output can be received and fed back to the neural network for retraining the neural network.

  • Patent number: 11762934
Abstract: Embodiments described herein include receiving an application flow defining logic for triggering automated actions for a candidate post on one or more web-based communication channels. An artificial intelligence (AI) powered web crawler may crawl a set of websites for target content. Responsive to identifying target content, machine learning may be leveraged to identify an entity name for an entity that is a subject of the target content and associate the entity with one or more event categories. Based on the event categories, a segment may be generated at runtime for the application flow where segment membership was not known at the time the application flow was defined or before application runtime.

  • Publication number: 20230177368
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of integrating an Artificial Intelligence (AI) planner and a reinforcement learning (RL) agent through AI planning annotation in RL (PaRL) includes identifying an RL problem. A description received of a Markov decision process (MDP) having a plurality of states in an RL environment is used to generate an RL task to solve the RL problem. An AI planning model described in a planning language is received, and mapping state spaces from the MDP states in the RL environment to AI planning states of the AI planning model is performed. The RL task is generated with an AI planning task from the mapping to generate a PaRL task.

  • Publication number: 20230145097
Abstract: A method and apparatus for dynamically routing traffic from a first network device to a second network device is described. In one implementation, the method includes sampling one or more qualified packets from an ingress stream using neural network classification criteria, appending a flow encapsulation header with the path information, providing the path information to the path computation engine at user approved time intervals, transmitting the packets to destination network device, and collecting real-time network telemetry data. Real-time network telemetry data is stored in a network health database. When a new network transfer is introduced, the system correctly identifies the characteristics of the transfer, in terms of size, throughput, jitter, latency, loss, and completion times. A corrective action is introduced that inputs the current network health information and transfer characteristics by generating corrective control rules to allow the transfer to be optimally routed (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20210406689
Abstract: An artificial intelligence (AI) platform to support random action replay for natural language (NL) learning. A NL conversation is explored to train a neural network. One or more tuples are leverage for the training, with each tuple representing an input action, a vector, an output action, and a reward value. An action is sampled from the vector, with the sampling including assessment of a corresponding first gradient. The first gradient is applied to selectively adjust the neural network. As NL input is received and applied to the selectively adjusted neural network, an output corresponding to the NL input is identified and a corresponding action is executed.
