  • Publication number: 20240115211
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for generating graphical displays of analyte data and/or health information. In some implementations, the graphical displays are generating based on a self-referential dataset that are modifiable based on identified portions of the data. The modified graphical displays can indicate features in the analyte data of a host.

  • Patent number: 10914228
Abstract: A waste heat recovery (WHR) and coolant system with active coolant pressure control includes an engine cooling system, a WHR system, and a coolant pressure control system. A coolant heat exchanger positioned along each of the engine cooling and working fluid circuits, and is structured to transfer heat from the coolant fluid to the working fluid. The coolant pressure control system includes a pressure line operatively coupled to an air brake system and to the coolant tank. A valve is coupled to the pressure line upstream of the coolant tank. A coolant pressure controller is in operative communication with each of the valve, an air pressure sensor, and a coolant temperature sensor. The coolant pressure controller is structured to determine a target coolant pressure based on a coolant temperature and control a valve position of the valve so as to cause the air pressure to approach the target coolant pressure.

  • Publication number: 20110241826
Abstract: Reconfigurable security systems, devices, and methods are provided. These can include systems having a configuration device, a reconfigurable lock system, and a reconfigurable key system, where transferable tumbler code carriers, having transferable tumbler codes, may be exchanged in order to provide controlled access to the devices or structures secured by the security system. By way of metaphor, the particular teeth configuration of a manual key may be understood as reflecting a single or fixed tumbler code. In embodiments, such a tumbler code may be exchanged, compared, and stored to allow for selective configuration of keys, mating of keys and locks, and selective access to security systems by a key system configured with a proper tumbler code.

  • Publication number: 20020059030
Abstract: A method and system 1 for processing electronic information associated with pre-determined characteristics of a biological subject 10. A testing kit 100 is provided at a location proximate the subject 10 for obtaining a representative sample 115 of the biological subject 10. The testing kit 100 includes a cartridge 110 which performs a pre-selected test or series of tests and generates electronic information 70 representative of sample characteristics. The electronic information 70 is transmitted to a remote data service 200 to determine pre-selected test results. The data service generates and transmits the test results to a testing kit operator, the subject, a provider, or a pre-selected third party, as may be appropriate and also performs a wide range of attendant administrative functions.

  • Patent number: 5601284
Abstract: An adjustable basketball goal generally includes a movable support, telescoped within a vertically mounted fixed support, and a hydraulic, water-powered drive mechanism for enabling the raising or lowering of a basketball rim connected to the upper end of the movable support. The drive mechanism includes a dual-compartment water piston and is powered by a conventional garden hose using ordinary household water pressure. With appropriate adjustments made to the water piston, the drive mechanism may be alternatively operable by pneumatic pressure as well as hydraulic pressure. A valve is included for enabling manual control of the drive mechanism. The adjustable basketball goal may also include a rotatable coupling between the movable and fixed supports such that the basketball rim may be rotated 360 degrees about an axis defined by the vertically mounted supports.
