  • Publication number: 20240134498
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed that enable a computing system to present a structured arrangement for tracking content items on a shared user interface (UI) during a communication session. The structured arrangement is a list that is displayed in a specific region of the shared UI. Inclusion of content items in the list makes it easier for users to locate and interact with those content items throughout the communication session. The ability to create and manipulate the list may be limited to only certain users such as a moderator. Use of this list can promote inclusivity and fairness. For instance, inclusion in the list may prevent content items from being forgotten or ignored. Additionally, the names of users who contributed the content items may be shown in the list thereby providing recognition for those users.

  • Patent number: 9156650
Abstract: A fire hose reel assembly comprising, a base, a front left angled bar, a front right angled bar, a rear left angled bar and a rear right angled bar. A top connecting bar connects the front left angled bar, the front right angled bar, the rear left angled bar and the rear right angled bar. A latch is directly attached to the top connecting bar. The fire hose reel assembly further includes a fire hose take-up rod. The fire hose reel assembly includes a fork assembly and a fork upper rod. The fork upper rod has a coupling attached to an upper end of the fork upper rod. The fork upper rod may be retained in the latch. The fork assembly is capable of retaining an end of a fire hose. A manual crank or a battery-operated or electric drill may be connected to the coupling in the upper end of the fork upper rod to provide power-assist to facilitate rolling-up the fire hose. The fire hose reel assembly in an embodiment may be mounted on wheels.

  • Publication number: 20070085358
Abstract: A handle for use with a pick-up tool includes first and second side panels, a pivoting trigger, an integrated grip, and a locking mechanism for selectively locking the trigger. The trigger extends through an upper housing of the side panels, and the grip extends from a rear section of the upper housing. The locking mechanism may include a pin located within a slot formed within the trigger, and a locking pawl that has notches which are sized to be received by the pin. The locking mechanism may also include a torsion spring that has a first leg for coupling to the locking pawl, and a sliding thumb tab that is located in the rear section of the upper housing. The thumb tab may contain an engagement structure for selectively engaging the first leg of the torsion spring. In use, downward sliding of the thumb tab causes one of the notches of the locking pawl to engage the pin and effectively lock the trigger.
