  • Patent number: 10095682
Abstract: A processing device receives a request to create a report. The processing device generates one or more questions pertaining to a decision tree, the decision tree linking one or more attributes to one or more corresponding incident codes. The processing device displays one or more answers corresponding to the one or more questions. The processing device utilizes the one or more answers to traverse the decision tree to arrive at more questions. Responsive to the processing device determining that the traversal of the decision tree results in an arrival at an incident code, the processing device generate a report template using the determined incident code.

  • Patent number: 10009457
Abstract: A processing device identifies comparison subjects comprising a first subject and a second subject. The processing device builds a first network of a first profile of the first subject and a second network of a second profile of the second subject, wherein the first network and the second network are multi-degree connections networks. The processing device the first network and second network to produce a similarity score. The processing device examining first-degree connections between the first network and the second network and accounting for centralities that rely on information about the first network and the second network. Responsive to the similarity score exceeding a similarity threshold, indicating the first profile and the second profile correspond to a common profile for the first subject and the second subject.

The processing device the first network and second network to produce a similarity score. The processing device examining first-degree connections between the first network and the second network and accounting for centralities that rely on information about the entire first network and the entire second network. Responsive to the similarity score exceeding a similarity threshold, the processing device merges the first profile and the second profile into a common profile for the first subject and the second subject.

  • Publication number: 20050243097
Abstract: A system and method for caching and rendering an image database enables predictive loading of unrequested portions of the image. A raw image is preprocessed and subdivided into tiles. As a portion of a raw image is displayed on a screen and the user zooms and pans the image, a predicting algorithm determines which additional tiles should be loaded into cache so that the user suffers no lag time as additional tiles not in cache are loaded. The present system and method is adaptable to both raster and vector images.

  • Patent number: 6292842
Abstract: A system of destination modules for transferring data from a source application to a destination application. When sending data, the source application loads a target destination module to perform the transfer. When there is more than one access mechanism available, the target destination module selects one of the access mechanisms, and loads an access mechanism destination module to process the data using the selected access mechanism. Similarly, if more than one data format can be used in the transfer, the access mechanism destination module chooses a data format and loads a data format destination module to process the data using the chosen data format. All three chained destination modules use the same interface, such that a destination module does not need to know if the module it calls to perform an operation uses another destination module to actually accomplish the operation.
