  • Patent number: 10492886
Abstract: An ink composition for marking a tissue specimen is provided. The ink composition has a general formula of 30.0 wt. % to 54.0 wt. % of an alkali soluble styrene; 0.3 wt. % to 1.7 wt. % ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose; 8.0 wt. % to 35.0 wt. % colorant; 0.0 wt. % to 13.0 wt. % pigment; 23.0 wt. % to 47.0 wt. % deionized water; 0.35 wt. % to 1.65% defoamer and 0.1 wt. % to 1.1 wt. % preservative. The inks in accordance with the invention may have a peak transmission in the visible spectrum at a wavelength of from 322 nm to 716 nm or having a lineal UV-Vis spectrum with no visible peak transmission between 250 nm and 950 nm. When applied to a tissue specimen the ink compositions do not bleed onto adjacent tissue margins. When view under a microscope the color of the ink compositions can be distinguished from each other.

  • Patent number: 10079810
Abstract: An apparatus in one embodiment comprises a first endpoint device having a processor coupled to a memory. The first endpoint device is adapted for communication with other endpoint devices over a network, and implements a key capture agent configured to interface with an operating system of the first endpoint device. The key capture agent is configured to collect key material associated with a session key utilized to encrypt packets sent by the first endpoint device to a second endpoint device over the network as part of a corresponding session. The key material and an identifier of the corresponding session are transmitted for delivery to a decoder that is not part of the first or second endpoint devices, so as to permit the decoder to be configured to decrypt the encrypted packets in intercepted network traffic. For example, the key capture agent may be configured to transmit the key material.

  • Patent number: 9835446
Abstract: A non-contacting deviation measurement system projects a first line and a second line upon a surface of an object. The projections of the first line and second line are arranged to overlap at an intersection line oriented at a nominal location such that when the surface is oriented at the nominal location, the intersection line appears on the surface. As the location of the surface deviates from the nominal location, the first line and second line as projected upon the surface move away from one another. The distance between the lines may be used to calculate the deviation from the nominal location. The deviation calculated may be compared to a predetermined maximum allowable deviation.

  • Patent number: 9700186
Abstract: A vacuuming device for neutralizing flammable powders. The device includes a container having an upper chamber and a lower chamber separated by a baffle, with the upper chamber being in fluid communication with the lower chamber proximate an outer annular region of baffle. A liquid such as water is disposed in the lower chamber, and an air jet drawn into the lower chamber via a vacuum inlet line. In one embodiment, the air jet passes through the liquid for generation of a tangential flow that causes the body of liquid to rotate within the lower chamber. The rotation in the lower chamber can also cause the air in the upper chamber to rotate, so that liquid droplets entrained therein migrate to the outer wall centrifugally. Flammable particles entrained in the air jet are wetted and neutralized.

  • Patent number: 8209874
Abstract: A frame construction tool system, for wood frame buildings, or for metal, polymer, concrete, or composite frame buildings, and methods of using some or all of the tools of said tool system, are particularly well-adapted for roof and/or wall construction. Preferably, a laser light unit comprises a plurality of adjustments for directing the laser light in a variety of directions, preferably for vertical, horizontal, and pivotal adjustment. The laser light unit may be used with targets, cuttings guides, and/or prism units for splitting and/or redirecting the laser beam. In one embodiment, the laser light unit is used with reflective and/or translucent/transparent targets to accurately build a “build-over roof” wherein the laser light unit maps out points and lines of an accurate connection between the roofs. In another embodiment, the laser light unit is used with one or more targets used at the top of a stud wall, to produce a straight line reference from one end/corner of a wall to another.

  • Patent number: 8048287
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for selectively removing conductive materials from a microelectronic substrate. A method in accordance with an embodiment of the invention includes positioning the microelectronic substrate proximate to and spaced apart from an electrode pair that includes a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode. An electrolytic liquid can be directed through a first flow passage to an interface region between the microelectronic substrate and the electrode pair. A varying electrical signal can be passed through the electrode pair and the electrolytic liquid to remove conductive material from the microelectronic substrate. The electrolytic liquid can be removed through a second flow passage proximate to the first flow passage and the electrode pair.
