  • Patent number: 10393276
Abstract: An improvement in a valve block for use with diaphragm-based valves is disclosed. The valve block includes a fluid-transfer plate with multiple small-diameter inlet bores connecting to a common inlet channel, and multiple small-diameter outlet bores connecting to a common outlet channel. The valve block also includes a pressure plate and diaphragm aligned and connected to the fluid-transfer plate in a way that allows pressurized material in the pressure plate to control the state of the channels formed by the inlet and outlet bores. The sizing and number of bores is optimized to accommodate high fluid flow rates, control fluid pressure, and enhance reliability.

  • Patent number: 10226727
Abstract: A filter assembly may include a housing and a cover movably connected to the housing and movable between an open position and a closed position. The filter assembly may also include at least one projection extending from the cover towards an interior of the housing and a filter element that fits at least partially within the housing. When the cover is moved from the open position to the closed position, at least one projection interfaces with the filter element and causes the filter element to pivot within the housing, such that the at least one projection seals the filter element and the housing together when the cover is in the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20160193554
Abstract: A filter apparatus is described that has a torque limiting device, which may be a clutch mechanism, and which provides a protective function for a filter, so as to protect a filter from being over tightened and to thereby prevent damage to filter components. The clutch mechanism can also eliminate or reduce the need for torque measurement of certain filter components. The clutch mechanism can be located on one of the fluid filter, a filter head which engages the fluid filter, or a combination of both the fluid filter and the filter head.

  • Patent number: 7841489
Abstract: A container having a knit line. The container comprises a body defining a partially enclosed volume having an access opening defined by a neck, the neck defining a pocket. An insert is coupled to the neck. The insert comprises an outer wall configured to fit within the opening of the container and defining the periphery of the insert. The outer wall has an upper edge and a lower edge, with the upper edge including an annular lip extending radially outward to prevent the insert from being pushed too far into or through the neck. The tooth extends from the lip and is configured to insert into a notch defined by the neck of the container. An upstanding spout is located within the outer wall. A bottom wall connects the lower edge of the outer wall and the spout to form a channel between the outer wall and the spout.
