  • Publication number: 20180030701
Abstract: A lavatory system includes a basin having a water collecting area having a back wall, a bottom wall, and a front wall. The back wall of the water collecting area is proximate the wall on which the lavatory system is mounted. Further, an opening may extend through the front wall. The lavatory system also includes a hand dryer having a blower located below the water collecting area and a first plenum having an input and an output. The input is connected to the blower to receive a first air flow from the blower, and the output is aligned with the opening in the front wall of the water collecting area to deliver the first air flow from the front wall over the water collecting area.

  • Publication number: 20170319809
Abstract: A trap bowl is provided to accumulate liquid droplets from a filter, as a liquid content. The trap bowl includes a transparent vertical prism. The transparent vertical prism includes a face that forms a vertical transparent surface facing against a content of the section. The face can provide a first angle of total reflection when content of the section is a type of gas, and a second angle of total reflection when the content of the section is the liquid content. A light source may emit a light beam incident on the face at an angle of incidence. The angle of incidence results in reflection of the light beam, striking the light receiver, when the face has the first angle of total reflection, and results in refraction of the light beam, missing the light receiver, when the face has the second angle of total reflection.

  • Patent number: 9585719
Abstract: A container for disposing of waste includes a receptacle, a first pivoting member having a first disposal surface and a first pair of opposing sides, and a second pivoting member having a second disposal surface and a second pair of opposing sides. The second pair of opposing sides are operatively coupled to the first pair of opposing sides such that waste deposited on either the first disposal surface or the second disposal surface causes concurrent counter rotation of both the first pivoting member and the second pivoting member. The first pivoting member includes a pair of opposing projections secured in a stationary position to the first pair of opposing sides and the second pivoting member includes a pair of opposing apertures formed in a stationary position in the second pair of opposing sides. The opposing projections translate within the opposing apertures during the concurrent counter rotation.

  • Publication number: 20160198909
Abstract: A lavatory system includes a hand dryer with at least a first proximity sensor and a second proximity sensor to detect an object for drying. A controller is communicatively linked to the first and second proximity sensors. The controller activates a drying operation after a first delay period if the first proximity sensor first detects the object for drying and activates a drying operation after a second delay period if the second proximity sensor first detects the object for drying. A filter flow sensor may also be provided to ensure proper filtering of the dryer's air.

  • Patent number: 8926562
Abstract: A syringe holder includes a body with a syringe retainer, an elongated finger and a stop member connected to the body. The finger inserts longitudinally into a socket on a pump without the aid of tools and permits the holder to move in multiple planes. The stop member limits such movement. The stop member can include a clip for releasably clamping onto a portion of a pump. The syringe retainer can include a hole in the body and may optionally include an adaptor mounted in or extending into the hole for detachably attaching a syringe. The syringe holder can be incorporated into a tube set assembly or an infusion system.

  • Patent number: 8608395
Abstract: A pull-behind floor finish applicator wherein a peristaltic pump is employed in conjunction with disposable conduit tubing obviate any clean up of the pump. This applicator is adaptable to receiving bag in the box floor finish, thus reducing cleaning time. The applicator employs a minimum number of disposable parts thus making it economical to produce. A mop is employed to apply floor finish to easily accessible areas in one instance, yet allows the mop to be used independently for application of floor finish to not so easily accessible areas.
