  • Patent number: 11983484
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer readable storage media for interacting with one or more data objects in an online social network. A user interface includes a publisher with a custom action. The custom action is defined in accordance with custom action instructions provided by a first entity via an application programming interface (API). Such custom action instructions may declaratively or programmatically define the data object, the interaction to be performed with the data object, and other attributes associated with the custom action. A user may request to interact with the data object via selection of the custom action by a second entity. Information may be submitted through the publisher to interact with the data object to update a database system associated with the data object. • Patent number: 11980408
Abstract: An intravascular catheter for peri-vascular and/or peri-urethral tissue ablation includes multiple needles advanced through supported guide tubes which expand with open ends around a central axis to engage the interior surface of the wall of the renal artery or other vessel of a human body allowing the injection an ablative fluid for ablating tissue, and/or nerve fibers in the outer layer or deep to the outer layer of the vessel, or in prostatic tissue. The system also includes means to limit and/or adjust the depth of penetration of the ablative fluid into and beyond the tissue of the vessel wall. The preferred embodiment of the catheter includes structures which provide radial and lateral support to the guide tubes so that the guide tubes open uniformly and maintain their position against the interior surface of the vessel wall as the sharpened injection needles are advanced to penetrate into the vessel wall.

  • Patent number: 11958923
Abstract: Disclosed are co-polymers which are produced from reactive monomer mixtures and which have both high refractive index and a high Abbe number. These materials are well suited for use as implantable ophthalmic devices and have a refractive index which may be edited through application of energy. When used for an intraocular lens, the high refractive index allows for a thin lens which compresses to allow a small incision size.

  • Publication number: 20240102481
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an improved barrier seal for use on a rotating shaft of a pump to mitigate leakage of fluids along the shaft. The body of the barrier seal may comprise a one-piece combined bushing and seal that can be selectably fastened to the pump bracket. Internal and external channels in the body can operably hold gaskets, internally dynamic seals, and externally static seals, inside the stuffing box of the pump bracket. A lubricant port can be disposed on a flange of the seal portion to provide lubricant to the interior of the barrier seal, which can also be fluidly coupled with the outside of the seal. A pressurized lubricating fluid can also help mitigate leakage of pumped fluid by pressurizing between static gaskets on the outside, and provide lubrication for the rotating shaft on the inside of the seal.

  • Publication number: 20240102471
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a universal-type bracket that incorporates a substantially uniform diameter through-bore. This allows the bracket to accept current sealing arrangements used in these types of pumps, while providing the same or better sealing options as current individual designs. The single through-bore can have multiple undercut features for holding a pump shaft bushing, with an increased wall thickness to allow for an appropriate interference fit with the walls of the through-bore, for example, similar to previous designs. Retaining ring grooves can be added to the through-bore, and retaining rings may be used to provide a positive shoulder for the seal or packing rings to seat against inside the bore. This may allow for various sealing options, such as stuffing seals, one-piece barrier seals, cartridge seals, BTR seals, component seals, and more.

  • Publication number: 20240102485
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a universal-type pump casing that allows for coupling to various piping couplers, for various sizes of fluid lines. This can allow the pump casing to accept the majority of current fluid line coupling, for various fluid line sizes used with these types of pumps, thereby eliminating the need to have a different casing for each different sized fluid line. A universal-type pump casing with a proximal end engaged with a pump bracket, and a distal end affixed to an end plate to define the pumping chamber. A first and second port can have an opening of a predetermined diameter, with a port face that can couple with various modular port flanges, to provide different port flange configurations.
