    Abstract: In a method for fertilizing plants, a water source is attached to a fertilizer distribution device including a controlled release fertilizer, the water source is activated, and a controlled release fertilizer enriched solution of water is distributed from the fertilizer distribution device upon a plant or the ground. The fertilizer distribution device includes the supply of controlled release fertilizer, an inlet configured to attach to a water source and an outlet configured to release a flow of fertilizer enriched water from the fertilizer distribution device. The supply of controlled release fertilizer includes a set of granules. The granules have a plurality of different solubility rates.
