  • Publication number: 20160091139
Abstract: A portable electronic device holder allows for quick mounting and telescoping of a cell phone or smart phone to enable a convenient recording of a selfie image. The device holder has a clamp section having a fixed thirty degree orientation relative to a telescoping handle section. The fixed angle reduces mounting complexity of the device as well as enhancing portability of the device holder. The clamp section also has a hinge that reduces the size of the clamp section when not in use, thereby further enhancing the portability of the device holder. The telescoping handle has an elliptical shape and or a groove that increases strength and durability, as well as enabling a secure holding of the device holder in operation while facilitating a natural horizontal orientation of the camera for recording of the selfie.
