  • Publication number: 20200283208
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to cargo assemblages that may include containers of rolled products stacked on pallets in an underhung or partially underhung configuration and secured thereto with film and methods of producing such cargo assemblages. The load may include containers of absorbent paper product arranged in stacked layers from a bottom layer of containers to a top layer of containers. The load and the pallet are sized such that the load defines a footprint that is smaller, at least in some portions, than a footprint of the pallet to create an underhung or partially underhung configuration. A film may be applied to connect the load with the pallet and to connect neighboring stacked layers together. The film may be wrapped around the pallet and/or layers of containers with a wrap profile having different characteristics, such as for example, containment forces; tensions; numbers of layers, and/or locations of layers with respect to the load, the pallet, and/or each other.

  • Publication number: 20100076269
Abstract: Systems and methods for treating paranasal sinuses in a head of a patient include, for example, forming an opening through a canine fossa into a maxillary paranasal sinus and performing a procedure such as a balloon catheter dilation of the maxillary sinus ostium. In some embodiments, one or more procedures other than a balloon dilation procedure may be performed. In some embodiments, a combination of balloon dilation and one or more other procedures may be performed. Various approaches involve employing medical devices to accomplish alternative treatment modalities as well as taking alternative routes to the interventional site.

  • Publication number: 20090105543
Abstract: A device for cleaning a lens of an endoscope inside a patient during a surgical procedure may include a cannula having a proximal end, a distal end and an opening, and an expandable member coupled with the cannula such that when fluid is introduced into the expandable member, it expands out of the opening in the cannula. A method for cleaning a lens of an endoscope inside a patient during a surgical procedure may involve: advancing a cannula into the patient; passing fluid into an expandable member coupled with the cannula to expand the expandable member, wherein some of the fluid passes through the expandable member to an outer surface of the expandable member; and contacting the endoscope lens with the outer surface of the expandable member, located inside the patient, to clean the lens.

  • Patent number: 5695132
Abstract: A mill for grinding marking particles utilizing a source of a pressurized fluid is provided. The mill includes a grinding chamber having a peripheral wall, a base and a central axis. The mill also includes a nozzle associated with the peripheral wall of the grinding chamber. The nozzle defines an inlet of the nozzle. The inlet is connectable to the source of pressurized fluid. The pressurized fluid propels the marking particles about the periphery of the chamber. The mill further includes a plug cooperable with the nozzle. The plug is in engagement the nozzle when the pressure within the grinding chamber is substantially greater than the pressure at the inlet of the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 5001624
Abstract: A data processing system including a processor that executes a plurality of instructions including at least one instruction that requires an external operation to be performed. The processor provides information for this external operation instruction to an external device and continues to execute instructions that do not require the results from this external operation. The external device receives the information from the processor, performs the external operation and provides the results to the processor. A further aspect of this data processing system is an interface that is interconnected between the processor and the external device. The processor provides the external operation information to the interface. The interface in turn provides the information to the external device and concurrently accesses data from the memory that will be required by the external device for performing the external operation.
