  • Publication number: 20200268535
Abstract: A stent for vascular interventions having a hybrid open cell geometry. Variants of the stent include bare metal stents and drug-eluting stents. Embodiments of the stent include end projections for radiopaque markers or a discontinuous partial radiopaque coating on low-stress or low-strain regions of the peripheral stent. The stents of the invention are characterized by having thin walls, nested rows of struts, high expansion ratio, high and uniform radial force over entire diametric size and length of device, crush resistance up to and including about 90% of its fully expanded diameter, high fatigue resistance and high corrosion resistance.

  • Publication number: 20200245946
Abstract: A universal implantable integrated circuit medical device platform having integral and monolithic circuit traces. The platform allows for implanting into a mammalian body single and multi-functional interface devices for sensing, monitoring stimulating and/or modulating physiological conditions within the body. Microelectronic circuitry may be integrated onto the platform or may be joined as modular components to the platform.

  • Publication number: 20190167452
Abstract: Wireless implantable medical devices, in particular stents, for operably coupling to and functionally interfacing with tissue, such as vascular tissue, adjacent to the implantable medical device, having integrally formed electronic circuitry configured to sense and/or stimulate tissue, such as nerves, adjacent to or in proximity to the situs of the implantable medical device and capable of transmitting signals from the stent to a remote receiver to interrogate conditions in the body or receive signals to stimulate tissue.
