  • Publication number: 20240160220
Abstract: An example method involves determining an expected demand level for a first type of a plurality of types of transport tasks for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the first type of transport tasks associated with a first payload type. Each of the UAVs is physically reconfigurable between at least a first and a second configuration corresponding to the first payload type and a second payload type, respectively. The method also involves determining based on the expected demand level for the first type of transport tasks, (i) a first number of UAVs having the first configuration and (ii) a second number of UAVs having the second configuration. The method further involves, at or near a time corresponding to the expected demand level, providing one or more UAVs to perform the transport tasks, including at least the first number of UAVs.

  • Publication number: 20190180206
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for managing a workflow. A natural language classification engine collets a first set of natural language data that indicates a workflow process. Based on the first set of natural language data, a workflow process action is identified. A second set of natural language data that indicates a workflow process action response is collected. Based on the workflow process action response, a workflow progression operation is determined. The workflow progression operation is executed to progress the workflow process.

  • Publication number: 20190138932
Abstract: The systems and methods provide an action recognition and analytics tool for use in manufacturing, health care services, shipping, retailing and other similar contexts. Machine learning action recognition can be utilized to determine cycles, processes, actions, sequences, objects and or the like in one or more sensor streams. The sensor streams can include, but are not limited to, one or more video sensor frames, thermal sensor frames, infrared sensor frames, and or three-dimensional depth frames. The analytics tool can provide for process validation, anomaly detection and in-process quality assurance.

The analytics tool can provide for automatic creation of birth certificates for each instance of a subject product or service. The birth certificate can string together snippets of the sensor streams along with indicators of cycles, processes, action, sequences, objects, parameters and the like captured in the sensor streams.

  • Patent number: 7275065
Abstract: A system for tracking read/unread information in a relational database on a per-row, per user basis. Software hooks internal to the relational database, and that cover all access points of the relational database, ensure that tracking code is invoked for all accesses to the database. A tracking table tracks read/unread information on a per-user, per-row level. The internal software hooks are attached to database operations causing database reads. The tracking table may be exposed as part of the metadata for the database. The system may be embodied to track either table rows which have been read, or table rows that are unread. Database table rows may be tracked as read only when individually selected, or whenever they are part of a group of rows in a result set for a select operation. Compression of the tracking table may be accomplished using mechanisms for tracking sets of multiple rows.

  • Publication number: 20060174131
Abstract: A method for providing a user with access to a plurality of computer resources, at least some of which utilize distinct protocols for receiving security information and for providing access to outside systems based on received security information. A request is received from the user identifying one of the plurality of computer resources. From a set of previously stored records each of which identifies one of the plurality of computer resources and contains security information for allowing access to the computer resource identified in the record, one of the records of the set is selected whose identification of one of the plurality of computer resources best matches the request's identification of one of the plurality of computer resources. The security information in the selected record is used to provide access to the computer resource identified in the request according to the distinct protocol utilized by that resource.

  • Publication number: 20050033752
Abstract: Method, system, and program product for rebasing an application. The application is analyzed to identify the database components that require remapping to a new database. These components are remapped to utilize the new database and/or a new interface layer that utilizes the new database. The components can be remapped by rewriting the component and/or redirecting the component. However, the configuration that is used for the data in memory is maintained, thereby reducing the number of components in the application that require modification.
