  • Patent number: 12005910
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically protecting transportable articles in vehicles. A system for dynamically protecting a transportable article in a vehicle may include one or more processors and non-volatile memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to determine at least one of a characteristic or a trait of the transportable article; detect, based on sensed data, an emergency condition; select one or more article protection components based on (i) the at least one of the characteristic or the trait of the transportable article, and (ii) the detected emergency condition; and in response to detecting the emergency condition, deploy the selected one or more article protection components to protect the transportable article.

  • Patent number: 11970089
Abstract: A system and method are provided for controlling an interior configuration of a vehicle following a collision. Sensor data that includes, or is derived from data that includes, data collected by one or more sensors is received, and a vehicle accident condition indicative of an accident having occurred is detected by processing the sensor data. After detecting the vehicle accident condition, an actuator component is caused to prevent a passenger from adjusting an interior vehicle component outside a predetermined range of physical configurations, while allowing the passenger to adjust the interior vehicle component within the predetermined range of physical configurations.

  • Publication number: 20240075942
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a vehicle. An example system for controlling operation of a vehicle includes one or more data collection components and one or more processors. The one or more data collection components are configured to collect data representative of a physical configuration of an interior vehicle component. The one or more processors are configured to access the collected data, determine, by processing the collected data, the physical configuration of the interior vehicle component, select a manner of operation based upon the determined physical configuration of the interior vehicle component, and cause the vehicle to operate according to the manner of operation.

  • Publication number: 20110242328
Abstract: A multispectral imaging system identifies disturbed ground regions in an interrogation area and includes an image sensor. The image sensor includes a photodetector array, a filter that transmits a non-near infrared (non-NIR) reference band and NIR including band from diffusely scattered light to the photodetector array. The 2-D photodetector array generates separately detected first non-NIR reference band data and NIR comprising band data. A processor for data processing is coupled to the photodetector array to receive the non-NIR reference band data and NIR band data. The data processing includes utilizing both the NIR band data and the non-NIR reference band data to generate processed image data that can be used to identify disturbed ground regions within the interrogation region.

  • Patent number: 7929573
Abstract: Network management information (NMI) contained in a first set of byte locations of a received frame is relocated to a second set of byte locations of another frame. The NMI is then transported through network elements using the second set of byte locations until the NMI is to be transported to a compatible network element, which can understand the NMI. At which time, the NMI is relocated back to the first set of byte locations of frames destined for the compatible network element. The relocation of the NMI from a first set of byte locations to a second set of byte locations allows the NMI to be transparently transported through incompatible network elements.

  • Publication number: 20030230024
Abstract: A fishing pole holder includes a hook having a stop bar attached transverse to the hook, having a vertically extending rod support system, a transversely attached cross bar at the upper end of the rod support system, and a plurality of cylindrical fishing pole sleeves attached at longitudinally spaced locations to the upper cross bar. The holder is readily mounted to a marine cleat as commonly found on boats or docks. A U-shaped hook may be used to secure the fishing pole holder to a boat rail.
