  • Patent number: 10517283
Abstract: Universal arbors mountable on tapered fishing rod blanks as non-degradable self-centering collars to which a reel seat may be mounted. The inventive cylinder-shaped arbor comprises a flexible thermoplastic resin formed as an outer cylinder, closed at one end with an integral end wall or separate disc/washer, which included a cylindrical hole to receive a rod blank. The annulus between the cylinder inner wall and the hole margin includes curved or straight centering fins secured to the cylinder inner wall that are free to flex. Flexing of the centering fins permits accommodating a wide range of blank tapers at the proper place of location of a reel seat making the arbor universal and positionally forgiving. Once the arbor is located on the blank and oriented properly, the cylinder is filled with a fluid epoxy resin, which when cured permanently secures the arbor to the blank and to the reel seat tube.

  • Patent number: 9527630
Abstract: A uniform and accessories organizer assembly ensures that a user's uniform and related accessories are readily accessible when preparing to dress for the related event. The assembly includes a support panel having a front surface. A plurality of pockets is coupled to the front surface. The pockets include a plurality of primary pockets. A plurality of sheaths is provided. Each sheath is coupled to each of the primary pockets. An open upper end of each sheath defines an access opening extending into the associated sheath. Each sheath is configured to receive a labeling panel having indicia thereon through the access opening of the associated sheath for labeling of the associated primary pocket. Each sheath is translucent to permit viewing into the sheath. A hook is coupled to the support panel.

  • Publication number: 20050107313
Abstract: The invention provides an isolated DNA molecule comprising the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1 or 2, or active fragments thereof, which encode a polypeptide active in suppressing cellular functions associated with cancer. In particular, the polypeptide (MTG16) functions as a tumour suppressor gene. It also provides variants of such DNA molecules which retain their function, polypeptides encoded by the DNA molecules and antibodies thereto, as well as the use of these molecules in diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic procedures and other uses such as screening for candidate pharmaceuticals and animal model generation.

  • Publication number: 20040170994
Abstract: A method for the diagnosis of a predisposition thereto, in a patient, comprising the steps of: (1) establishing the level of expression of a gene selected from the group consisting of PR domain containing 7 protein (PRDM7), CDT1 DNA replication factor (CDT1), charged multivesicular body protein 1/chromoatin modifying protein 1 (CHMP1), BTG3 associated nucleoprotein (BANP), BNO224, BNO36, BNO34, BNO208, BNO230 and BNO44; and (2) comparing expression of the gene to a baseline established from expression in normal tissue controls; wherein substantial variance from the baseline indicates that the patient is susceptible to cancer.
