  • Patent number: 10329423
Abstract: The present invention relates to a modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition. More particularly, the present invention relates to a modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition including 10 to 40% by weight of a poly(arylene ether) resin, 30 to 70% by weight of a polyamide resin, 1 to 20% by weight of a polyolefin based resin, 1 to 10% by weight of a compatibilizer, and 1 to 20% by weight of an impact modifier, and a molded article manufactured using the same. The modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition according to the present invention exhibits reduction of property change due to moisture and provides low specific gravity and superior impact strength, heat resistance, and property balance.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 12, 2016
Date of Patent: June 25, 2019
    Assignee: LG CHEM, LTD.
Inventors: Nam Jib Park, Sang Ho Lee, Se Yeong Ju, Soo Min Lee, Jong Kuk Choi, Sung Ho Lee
  • Patent number: 10072149
Abstract: Disclosed is a poly(arylene ether) resin composition, and more specifically, a modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition including a poly(arylene ether) resin, a poly(arylene ether) resin modified with unsaturated carboxylic acid or an anhydride thereof, a polyamide resin, a polyolefin resin, and an encapsulating agent, wherein the polyolefin resin is encapsulated by the encapsulating agent with the poly(arylene ether) resin and the poly(arylene ether) resin modified with unsaturated carboxylic acid or an anhydride thereof, and a molded article produced therefrom. The disclosed composition has an effect of providing a modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition which has less change in physical properties caused by moisture, and has low specific gravity and superior impact strength, weatherability and balance in physical properties.
