Abstract: Apparatuses for physically securing a portable electronic device to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface are disclosed. In an embodiment an apparatus includes a main body with left, right, front, and upper arms that are retractable and extendable relative to the main body. A first circular gear engages the left arm and the right arm. A second circular gear engages the lower arm and the upper arm. A lock mechanism is provided to lock the first circular gear to the second circular gear and prevent independent rotation of the first circular gear and the second circular gear.

One or more fasteners is/are attachable to a tabletop to secure the apparatus and the portable electronic device to the tabletop.

Abstract: A security apparatus is disclosed herein for securing a secured object to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface. The security apparatus comprises a housing with a support surface for supporting the secured object. A pair of arm assemblies extend above the support surface and are configured to move between an open position where the secured object may be placed on or removed from the support surface. A mechanical drivetrain is provided for actuating the arm assemblies between the open and closed positions. When the security apparatus is attached to a tabletop of a display table, at least a portion of an actuator of the mechanical drivetrain will extend beneath the surface of the display table, which should be made inaccessible to the public.

Abstract: A security apparatus secures a laptop or other secured object to a display surface. The security apparatus includes a pair of spaced apart slats for receiving a display of the laptop, or other upwardly extending portion of a secured object. The slats are mounted at each of their ends to a restraint assembly. The restrain assemblies mount to the display surface with one of the slats positioned above the laptop keyboard, or other horizontally extending portion of the secured object. When the security apparatus is attached to the display surface, all fasteners to secure the security apparatus to the display surface are inaccessible from above the display surface.

The security apparatus comprises a neck, a support shelf, and a brace. The neck includes first and second neck portions configured to be selectively attached to and detached from one another. The support shelf includes first and second shelf portions, attached respectively, to upper ends of the first and second neck portions. The brace includes first and second brace elements configured to be selectively attached respectively to the first and second shelf portions, while the first and second neck portions are detached from one another. The brace is configured to encase at least a portion of a housing of a wearable device to thereby secure the wearable device to the support shelf.
