Abstract: A tape measure may include a housing including an interior space and a brake opening in communication with the interior space, a reel rotatably supported within the interior space, a tape blade at least partially wound on the reel, and a finger brake positioned adjacent the brake opening. The finger brake may include a support frame attached to the housing and including a frame opening, and a flexible member attached to the support frame and extending over the frame opening. The flexible member may be configured to deflect or elastically deform from a released position in which the flexible member is spaced apart from the tape blade to an engaged position in which at least a portion of the flexible member contacts a portion of the tape blade.

Abstract: A system comprising a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the system to create a first identifier associated with a first user and including profile information of the first user; determine a second identifier associated with the first user and with an application, the second identifier including a subset of the profile information of the first user; receive an interaction request from a second user, the interaction request including a third identifier associated with the first user; associate the third identifier with the first identifier associated with the first user and the application; enable the interaction between the first user and the second user on the application; and provide for display to the second user information associated with the first user based on the second identifier.

The present disclosure includes a method comprising receiving, using one or more computing devices, an attribute associated with an action of a first user on a mobile computing device; retrieving, using the one or more computing devices, profile information associated with the attribute from a first global database; determining, using one or more computing devices, whether to update a profile with the profile information; and responsive to determining to update the profile, providing, using one or more computing devices, the information for storage in the profile.

Abstract: Implementations generally relate to providing information associated with a profile owner to a target user in a social network system. In one implementation, a method includes receiving profile data associated with a profile owner. The method also includes receiving contact data associated with the profile owner, where the profile data and the contact data are provided by different users. The method also includes generating one or more views, where the one or more views include an interleaved view, and where the profile data and the contact data are displayed in an interleaved manner in a same section of the interleaved view.

Abstract: A milling machine table device comprises a rigid longitudinal body having longitudinal surfaces parallel to each other along a length of the body configured to be attachable to a vise; and two rigid legs of equal length extending from the longitudinal body in a fixed position, each leg comprising a portion configured to engage a t-slot of the milling machine table there beneath. Also, a milling machine table device comprises two legs of equal length extending from the longitudinal body, each leg configured with a portion configured to engage a t-slot of the milling machine table and indicators disposed in one of the body and the two legs, the indicators comprising an adjustable probe configured to indicate an orthogonal distance from one of a vise jaw and an edge of a t-slot to an end of the probe. A method for calibrating and squaring the device is also included herein.

Abstract: A gauge sets a height of a lathe cutter to a spindle axis. The gauge comprises an adjustable housing and a level vial, a longitudinal positioning of the level vial to be perpendicular to the spindle axis. A bubble in the level vial is longitudinally centered therein and the adjustable housing is fixed in place relative to the gauge. A chamfered notch in the gauge is slidable along a length of a shaft positioned in the spindle thereof. Flexible prongs secure the level vial relative to the adjustable housing. One of a set screw, a clamp and rubber bands secure the level vial relative to the adjustable housing. A receptacle in the gauge receives a shaft positioned in the spindle and enables laterally adjusting the gauge on a length of the shaft until the contact face of the gauge is laterally aligned with the tip of the lathe cutter.

Abstract: An automated content extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) system extracts content from a source content system, transforms the content, loads the transformed content into a specific target system, and then allows a content consumer to search, request, and receive content data without communicating with the source content system. The system may retrieve content data of any type from one or more content delivery management (CMS) repositories using CMS connectors. The system then may extract content from the retrieved content items and may provide the extracted content items to a search platform for indexing. The system may extract the one or more content assets and store the extracted assets into a content delivery network (CDN), for example without communicating or accessing any of the CMS repositories.

Abstract: A process embodied in a machine that accepts bottle-form packages of wine and transfers the contents thereof into a box-form retail package. The machine will perform the transfer repeatedly and sanitarily, while preserving the quality of the transferred wine. The resulting box-form retail package allows the consumer to partake of the contained wine over an extended period of time, without the contained wine spoiling.

Selection of a test entity from a set of test entities satisfying received parameters may utilize stochastic techniques. When multiple tests are administered simultaneously, test entities may be provided in a manner that ensures that one test does not affect the validity of another test due to the test's activity in connection with the test entities.

These openings can be laterally offset from one another to facilitate selecting a particular pitch orientation for the bar. The tab can have a non-circular hole disposed therethrough sized and configured to receive the bar. This hole can include a surface that is configured to key with respect to a corresponding bar surface to thereby prevent the bar from rotating.

Consistent with some embodiments, a computing device detects simple gestures, and in response, display a preview of content items preceding, or following a currently selected content item, from the list of content items. Upon detecting a selection gesture, the computing device updates the view of the currently selected content item to display the newly selected content item.
