  • Publication number: 20180029870
Abstract: A containment pad with a basin and a porous cover is provided for supporting a vehicle. Service conduits are provided within the containment pad allowing fluid and/or electrical and instrumentation connections to be connected through the containment pad, allowing for example a fuel tank to connect to a dispenser through the containment pad allowing a gas station to use dispensing islands with no underground piping. A modular interlocking design allows multiple lanes and dispensing islands.

  • Patent number: 7537259
Abstract: There is provided a vehicle and a drip guard for containing any material spilling from the vehicle. The drip guard has a sheet of liquid impervious material, and a device for extending and retracting the sheet of liquid impervious material along the undercarriage of the vehicle. The sheet of liquid impervious material is attached to the vehicle and has drainage ports. In the retracted position the sheet of liquid impervious material is retracted toward a first end of the undercarriage. In the extended position, the sheet of liquid impervious material is extended from the first end of the undercarriage toward a second end of the undercarriage. In the extended position, the sheet underlies a major portion of the undercarriage. The sheet of liquid impervious material is attached to cables that guide and support the sheet of liquid impervious material between the extended position and the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20050010479
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating data to support fuel tax rebates. A first step involves providing at least one computing device containing geographic data regarding highways. A second step involves equipping a motor vehicle that consumes fuel with a positioning system for generating positioning data as to the latitude and longitude of the vehicle. A third step involves providing fuel consumption data and positioning data to the at least one computing device. By comparing the positioning data with the geographic data regarding highways, it can be determined when fuel is being consumed off-highway for which a tax fuel rebate can be claimed and an accurate record can be maintained of such off-highway use.
