  • Patent number: 10108859
Abstract: An augmented reality moment file represented by an augmented reality icon recordable and readable by a handy having a processor in proximity to the locus of a recorded moment file configured to receive an augmented reality moment file. The content of the augmented reality moment file is preferably assessable via a user selectable icon either representative of a user, location, and/or theme. The icon assessable user created content moment file, in addition to content and a position, preferably also includes recorder identification, a recorded time, an expiration, and media such as text, an image, a video, a sound recording, a game play instruction, a game play move, and/or a setup menu.

  • Patent number: 9907226
Abstract: A lawnmower uses thin, replaceable blades with a hardened cutting edge and a cross-section defining an airfoil retained in cartridges that are inserted and removed from rotors in a blade assembly at need. The cartridges comprise a blade and rotor interlocking elements affixed to the blade, each rotor interlocking element corresponding to one rotor in the blade assembly. Each rotor and rotor interlocking element includes features that allow the two to be securely engaged so that the rotors may be spun quickly in a mower blade assembly to cut grass.

  • Patent number: 9821910
Abstract: A system for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle may include a GNSS receiver, a transponder, one or more flight controls, a UAV operation module, a UAV mission module, and a UAV chassis. The system may include an operating area defined within an airspace and an airspace controller, and a transponder key issued to the UAV by the airspace controller. The airspace controller and the UAV may communicate to unlock UAV access of the operating area, including transmitting a transponder ID code for verification to the airspace controller; receiving a read certificate from the airspace controller; transmitting a mission plan to the airspace controller; receiving a mission key from the airspace controller; verifying the mission key via read back transmission to the airspace controller; and receiving a mission plan from the airspace controller in the form of the transponder key, the mission plan unlocking access to the operating area.

  • Patent number: 9310222
Abstract: A system and apparatus assists pilots and flight crews in determining the best course of action at any particular point inflight for any category of emergency. The system monitors a plurality of static and dynamic flight parameters including atmospheric conditions along the flight path, ground conditions and terrain, conditions aboard the aircraft, and pilot/crew data. Based on these parameters, the system may provide continually updated information to the pilot or crew about the best available landing sites or recommend solutions to aircraft configuration errors. In case of emergency, the system may provide the pilot with procedure sets associated with a hierarchy of available emergency landing sites (or execute these procedure sets via the autopilot system) depending on the specific nature of the emergency.
