    Abstract: The present invention discloses a portable cooking stove comprising a base portion adapted to hold a heating means, and a removable top member for supporting a cooking implement, characterised in that the base portion comprises a support member for supporting the top member, the support member comprising a plurality of leaves, the intended lower edge of each vane being pivotally connected to the circumference of the base portion such that, in use, the leaves will extend upwardly from the base portion in order to support the top member, and when not in use, the intended upper edge of the leaves are pivoted towards the centre of the base portion.
