  • Patent number: 11102349
Abstract: In the case of a method or an arrangement for the automatic start up of a first communication terminal (EG A, EG B) configured for voice communication on at least one second communication terminal (CL A, CL B) configured for text communication, the voice communication between communication terminals is conveyed via at least one voice communication server (SCS) and the text communication between communication terminals is conveyed via at least one text communication server (TCS). The at least one voice communication server (SCS) and the at least one text communication server (TCS) exchange information via at least one conversion device (GW). The start up of at least one first communication terminal (CL A, CL B) is effected via the at least one text communication server (TCS), the at least one conversion device (GW) and the at least one voice communication server (SCS) to at least one second voice communication terminal (EG A, EG B).

  • Patent number: 9521096
Abstract: Clients in a data network can subscribe to CTI Services and in this regard must be reachable by the CSTA gateway (CCGW). If this is not the case, because for example an error occurs in the data network, then the transmission of unnecessary messages can be prevented or stopped. The clients can be connected via a server to the CCGW, where the server monitors the status of the clients and acknowledges the messages addressed to an unreachable client with error messages. The server is preferably an XMPP server and the clients are preferably XMPP clients. In order to permit transport of the CSTA messages via XMPP, info/query stanzas according to RFC 3920 can be used, since they have the advantage over message stanzas that they can be acknowledged by a remote station.

  • Patent number: 9319436
Abstract: In a method for integrating functions of a telecommunications network (TN) in a data network (DN), a switching System (PBX) of the telecommunications network is connected to an IM Server (XS) of the data network via a device (CCGW), with the aid of which the IM Server is rendered capable of providing Computer telephony integration Services of the switching System (PBX) to a Communications subscriber of the data network.

  • Patent number: 8995629
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of Computer telephony Integration and in particular to the migration of the interface standardised according to ECMA-29 to the private branch exchange (PBX) via a CSTA gateway. The clients (C1-C4) in the data network subscribe to CTI Services and in this regard must be reachable by the CSTA gateway (CCGW). If this is not the case, because for example an error occurs in the data network, then the transmission of unnecessary messages should be prevented or stopped. The problem is solved in that the clients are connected via a server (XS) to the CCGW, wherein the server monitors the Status of the clients and acknowledges the messages addressed to an unreachable client with error messages. The server (XS) is preferably an XMPP server and the clients (C1-C4) are preferably XMPP clients.
