  • Patent number: 11967235
Abstract: A method for determining the position of a non-motorized road user including ascertaining a first geodetic position of the road user in a position determination device, which uses a global navigation satellite system, of the terminal, and transmitting the first geodetic position to a traffic device. In a control unit of the traffic device, ascertaining a second geodetic position of the road user from a geodetic traffic device position and a relative position ascertained from sensor data, showing the road user, of at least one surroundings sensor of the traffic device. At least if a limiting value for a deviation of the first position from the second position is exceeded, transmitting an item of deviation information describing the second position and/or the deviation from the traffic device to the mobile terminal, and using the deviation information to correct the position ascertainment in the position determination device.

  • Patent number: 11774394
Abstract: An inventive electrochemical sensor has a substrate with proximal and distal regions. The proximal region has at least one contact element configured to communicate with a measurement device. A working electrode is located in the distal region of the substrate and includes a conductive trace. A plurality of enzyme fields are provided, each enzyme field having an enzyme configured for providing a reaction with an analyte. The enzyme fields are spaced apart and each enzyme field is at least partially located on the conductive trace. The conductive trace may be provided in the form of a grid. The enzyme fields can be formed such that they extend beyond one or both edges of the trace or such that they cover only a portion of the full width of the trace. Manufacturing tolerances can be improved.

  • Patent number: 11399753
Abstract: An electrochemical sensor is disclosed. The sensor has a substrate having a proximal part and an elongated distal part. Electrodes are formed on the distal part. The working electrode forms a conductive trace and multiple electrode pads are arranged along and connected by conductive trace. The electrode pads include a corrosive conductive layer covered by a non-corrosive conductive layer. The corrosive conductive layer is a metal less noble or as noble as Ag, and the non-corrosive conductive is a metal more noble than Ag. An insulating layer on the substrate has openings in the areas of the electrode pads. A protective measure for the corrosive conductive layer can be provided, such as having the insulating layer at least partially overlap the electrode pad edges, or providing at least one of the electrode pads with an elongated shape along the smaller dimension of the distal part.

  • Patent number: 10806387
Abstract: A medical device and method of making the medical device are disclosed. The medical device includes a sensor having an interconnect. The interconnect has a first conductive layer, an insulation layer, and a second conductive layer separated from the first conductive layer by the insulation layer. An electrical contact is provided that is electrically connected to the second conductive layer and is contactable from the side of the interconnect that opposes the second conductive layer. The electrical contact is provided free of micro-vias. The medical device also includes an electronics assembly having an electrical connector, the electronics assembly configured to mate with the interconnect to establish an electrical connection between the electrical connector and the first conductive layer via the electrical contact.

  • Patent number: 9533890
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for producing a paste-like SiO2 composition using an SiO2 slip which allows simple intermediate storage and transport conditions without the processability of the slip to give the paste-like SiO2 composition being impaired thereby. According to the invention, it is for this purpose proposed that a homogeneous SiO2 base slip be subjected to a drying step to form a dry SiO2 composition and subsequently be processed further by means of a remoistening step to give the paste-like SiO2 composition, where the remoistening step comprises the addition of liquid to the dry SiO2 composition to form a paste-like kneadable SiO2 composition having a solids content of more than 85% by weight. The invention further relates to the use of a paste-like SiO2 composition as repair composition.
