  • Publication number: 20240116556
Abstract: A spindle device has a spindle rod and a spindle nut, wherein an internal thread of the spindle nut interacts with an external thread of the spindle rod, and the spindle rod and/or the spindle nut can be rotated about a longitudinal axis of the spindle rod. At least one bearing device is provided, in which the spindle rod or the spindle nut is mounted. The bearing device allows compensating movements, which are oriented at least radially to the longitudinal axis, for the spindle rod and/or the spindle nut. To compensate for tolerances of the spindle rod and/or the spindle nut, while at the same time intending to ensure a high degree of stiffness in the axial direction of the longitudinal axis, the bearing device has a plurality of elastically deformable bars for realizing the compensating movements.

  • Publication number: 20240053829
Abstract: Broadly speaking, embodiments of the present techniques provide a method for identifying user interactions with an electronic apparatus. It is desirable to provide feedback to a user each time they interact with certain parts of the electronic apparatus. However, an actuator used to provide the feedback may interfere with a signal output by a sensor, such that it becomes difficult to identify true subsequent user interactions. The present techniques provide ways to process a raw signal output by a sensor to enable user interactions to be more easily distinguished from the interference (e.g. cross-talk).

  • Publication number: 20230406194
Abstract: An illuminating apparatus for a vehicle, in particular a headlamp for a vehicle, comprises a housing, at least one light module for generating a light function, a supporting frame, which is pivotably arranged in the housing. The light module is mounted on the supporting frame such that it is pivoted along with the pivoting of the supporting frame. A manually actuatable adjuster pivots the supporting frame around a horizontal axis. The adjuster has a setting spindle, which is rotatable around its longitudinal axis and is used to pivot the supporting frame, a servomotor including an adjusting element, which is linearly displaceable in a displacement direction for the purpose of implementing an automatic headlamp leveling control. The setting spindle and the adjusting element being connected to each other in such a way that a movement of the adjusting element in the displacement direction effectuates a movement of the setting spindle.

  • Publication number: 20230384862
Abstract: Broadly speaking, embodiments of the present techniques provide haptic button assemblies in which the haptic button has a low profile while still providing a satisfying tactile response or sensation to a user. Advantageously, the haptic button assemblies may have a profile that, for example, enables the assembly to be incorporated into the free space along an edge of a portable computing device. The haptic assemblies may, for example, be arranged to move the button perpendicularly with respect to the edge of the device.
