  • Publication number: 20220041740
Abstract: This invention relates to humanised versions of the murine anti-IL17BR antibody D9.2 which comprise mutations of certain residues within the heavy chain and/or light chain variable domains that display improved expression without deleterious effects on specificity or affinity. The humanised antibodies may comprise a heavy chain variable (VH) domain which comprises a VHCDR1 of SEQ ID NO: 1, a VHCDR2 of SEQ ID NO: 2, and a VHCDR3 of SEQ ID NO: 3, for example, a VH domain of SEQ ID NO: 9, SEQ ID NO: 10 or SEQ ID NO: 11. The humanised antibodies may comprise a light chain variable (VL) domain which comprises a VLCDR1 of SEQ ID NO: 4, a VLCDR2 of SEQ ID NO: 5, and a VLCDR3 of SEQ ID NO: 6, for example a VL domain of SEQ ID NO: 13. Antibodies, pharmaceutical compositions and methods of use, for example in the treatment of cancer are provided.

  • Publication number: 20200317753
Abstract: The present invention provides humanized antibodies against Enterovirus 71 (EV71), a causative agent of hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD), as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising these antibodies and methods of their use in the treatment, prophylaxis, and diagnosis of HFMD. These antibodies are suitable for use in human subjects with HFMD or those at risk of HFMD, for example as a result of exposure to infected individuals.

  • Publication number: 20140005126
Abstract: A naive WW domain peptide library derived from a WW domain peptide sequence which has been diversified by changing the amino acid sequence at one or more positions is provided. The naive WW domain peptide library may be derived from a GroupIV WW domain peptide. Methods for making the naive WW domain peptide library and methods for selected a modified WW domain peptide that binds a target ligand using the naive WW domain peptide library are also provided. Also disclosed are modified WW domain peptides that bind desired target ligands, pharmaceutical compositions comprising such peptides, and uses for such peptides. The modified WW domain peptides have altered, improved or different, target ligand binding characteristics to those of the unmodified WW domain peptides from which they are derived.
