  • Publication number: 20230366336
Abstract: An internal combustion engine in which component parts slide against each other during operation, the internal combustion engine including: a water supply device that supplies water to the sliding surfaces of the component parts; and a control device that controls an operation of the internal combustion engine. At least one of the sliding surfaces of the component parts is made of silicon-based ceramics. The control device controls the operation of the internal combustion engine such that a low load or a no-load operation in which an engine load is limited to a predetermined reference load or less is performed until a predetermined standby period elapses after the operation of the internal combustion engine is started, and controls the operation of the internal combustion engine such that a normal operation in which the engine load is not limited to the reference load or less is performed after the standby period elapses.

  • Publication number: 20190105566
Abstract: A game apparatus and a method for operating the game apparatus are provided. The game apparatus includes an input device, a memory, and a processor. The input device receives an operating instruction from a player. The memory stores a list of game mediums of a player, and a first effect and a second effect corresponding to each of the game mediums. The processor designates a game medium to have, at a single point in time, only one of the first effect or the second effect for the game medium in accordance with the operating instruction. When the game medium is designated to have the first effect or the second effect, the processor retrieves from the memory, corresponding effect of the game medium to be applied upon execution and produces the corresponding effect.

  • Patent number: 9259653
Abstract: In a system comprising the disclosed server and a plurality of player terminals, it is possible to suitably and easily alter the accessories and character class of player characters. The server has: a memory means that stores player character data of a plurality of player terminals; a means that confers data indicating the fact that a player character indicated in a party formation command has been added to the same party when a party formation command has been input from a player terminal; a means that acquires changes regarding the accessories or player class of the player character in each player terminal, and updates the character data stored in memory; a means that extracts the other players that form the same party as the player character for which changes have been output; and a means for transmitting said changes to the terminals of the other players that were extracted.

  • Publication number: 20140087836
Abstract: There is provided a game apparatus and game system in which the interest of a game is improved and in which a strategic ability is required to select or set a skill or an item used when the player character fights against the enemy character. A skill card can be set on a normal slot or a wild slot on a menu screen. A plurality of skill cards that have not set on the slot is placed at a held skill display region. A player moves the skill cards to the normal slot setting region or the wild slot setting region to set skill cards on the slot. The player can use the skill card set on the normal slot at an arbitrary timing. A skill card is randomly determined as an available skill card from among the skill cards set on the wild slot.

  • Patent number: 4423356
Abstract: An AC memory driving type self-shift type gas discharge panel prevents accidental abnormal discharges caused by deviated abnormal charges. Abnormal charges are significantly accumulated at both ends of a shift channel consisting of a regular arrangement of a write discharge cell and shift discharge cells. Therefore, conductive layers are provided adjacent to at least both ends of the shift channel in order to dissipate the abormal charges.

  • Patent number: 4138626
Abstract: A first glass substrate supports a plurality of electrodes arranged in concentric circles. A second glass substrate supports a plurality of shift electrodes arranged radially. The substrates are positioned face to face with a specified space between them filled with an ionizable gas. The radially arranged shift electrodes are periodically connected to common buses each connected to a corresponding one of a plurality of shift driver circuits equal in number to the buses. At least one of the shift electrodes is selectively connected to a write driver circuit and to one of the shift driver circuits. When the one of the shift electrodes is energized by a signal from the write driver circuit, discharge spots are generated at the intersection of the one of the shift electrodes and the concentrically arranged electrodes.

  • Patent number: 4109181
Abstract: An improved driving system and method for shifting a discharge spot from a given discharge cell to an adjacent discharge cell in an A.C. gas discharge, or plasma display, panel, having opposed sets of electrodes respectively covered with corresponding dielectric layers thereby insulated from the discharge gas space. One set of electrodes comprises common electrodes extending in parallel relationship and defining the direction of propagation of the shifted discharge spots. The other set of electrodes, spaced apart from the first set by the gas space, extends in parallel relation transversely to the first common electrodes, and comprise the shift electrodes. The shift electrodes are arranged in groups of a predetermined number in each group and a corresponding number of buses permits selective application of shift pulses to the respectively associated shift electrodes in sequence for each group and simultaneously for the successive groups.
