    Abstract: The object is to provide an image capture device capable of carrying out good image capture in electronic viewfinder mode.     Abstract: An image signal outputted from a CCD is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter via a sampling hold circuit. After A/D conversion, the image data before image processing is stored in a first memory. A signal processing part performs image processing with respect to the unprocessed image data read out from the first memory in view of image property parameter data in accordance with an instruction from a CPU. The image after the image processing is displayed on a display. The user looks at the displayed image and selects, through an image property setting device, an image property parameter that the user desires, then inputs instructions such as change of parameter and adjustment. The signal processing part executes re-processing with respect to the unprocessed image data read out from the first memory, in accordance with new image property parameter data that is newly set by the user. The image property parameters are: white balance, gradation, gain, tonality, sharpness, and so forth.

    Abstract: An imaging part and sensors are provided on an eyeglasses-shaped frame, which connects to a body through a cable. When a cameraman wears the frame just like eyeglasses, a taking lens is directed in the same direction that the face of the cameraman faces, so that a subject to be captured can be in the same direction as a line of sight of the cameraman. The sensors generate detection signals upon detecting movement of muscles at the temples of the cameraman by detecting myoelectric impulses. The image recording apparatus is controlled in accordance with the detection signals, which represent an arrangement of the movement for control. For example, when the cameraman closes the right eye to move the muscles at the right temple, the subject is zoomed in, and when the cameraman closes both eyes, the captured image is recorded.

During calibration, a negative base area on the film is positioned between the light source and the line sensor, and signal levels of colors of color signal data corresponding to three primary colors transmitted through the negative base area are controlled to be substantially equal. While the film is transported, the color signal data indicating a frame image are obtained in the calibrated state, and shading correction is performed for the color signal data according to the obtained shading data.

A user selects the light source to be employed. A microcomputer of the white balance control device detects a difference between integral averaged values for two color difference signals R-Y and B-Y and a reference value. The integral averaged values are to be equalized until this difference is within a predetermined value. The integral averaged values are also to be maintained within a variable region in accordance with the selected light source. Use of the variable region insures that deterioration of the reproduced color does not occur even when there is a difference between a selected light source and an actual color temperature.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a starting decompression device for a four-cycle engine for forcedly open an exhaust valve to decompress a combustion chamber. The starting decompression device includes an interlocking means operatively connected to the exhaust valve, a decompression cam member opposed to the interlocking means, and a return spring for urging the cam member towards an inoperative position at which the exhaust valve is closed. In the device, the cam member is automatically returned, at a suitable time during cranking, to close the exhaust valve, thereby mitigating the initial load of cranking and positively starting the engine.

    Abstract: A three-wheeled motor vehicle has a container for clothes and other things that is supported between a pair of channel-shaped bars extending rearwardly from the vehicle frame between a pair of rear wheels. The container has a pair of front resilient rollers disposed laterally thereof and fitted in a pair of respective channels fixed to and disposed in the channel-shaped bars, and a pair of rear resilient rollers fitted in the channel-shaped bars. The front resilient rollers are retained against forward movement by front vertical portions of the channels. The rear resilient rollers are retained against rearward movement by stop plates on a U-shaped guard fastened to the channel-shaped bars. The container is stably supported on the bars by the resilient rollers against vibrations and impacts.
