  • Patent number: 9477362
Abstract: A touch screen according to a disclosed embodiment may have a small cross capacitance between row-direction wiring and column-direction wiring, and a large change of the cross capacitance when the touch screen is touched by an indication body. A row-direction wiring includes a first portion and a second portion having a smaller wiring width than a wiring width of the first portion. A wiring width of the column-direction wiring is smaller than a length in a row direction of the second portion. The row-direction and column-direction wiring intersect in the second portion, and gaps are formed between the row-direction and column-direction wiring in planar view in an intersection portion. The touch screen further includes floating wiring that fills the gaps in planar view, and the floating wiring is formed in the same layer as the row-direction wiring or the column-direction wiring, and is insulated from both wirings.

  • Publication number: 20160274729
Abstract: In a touch panel device, an output control unit controls a process of outputting touch information acquired by a sensing unit and a touch detection unit of a touch sensor panel to host equipment, where the information indicates presence or absence and a coordinate of a touch of an indicator to the touch sensor panel. A state sensing unit senses an operation state of the sensing unit or the touch detection unit. A state restoration unit restores the sensing unit or the touch detection unit in the abnormal state to a normal state, based on a detection result of the state sensing unit. Upon detecting an abnormal state in the state sensing unit, an output control unit stops an output of the touch information to the host equipment for a fixed period of time.

  • Patent number: 9336897
Abstract: A shift register circuit comprises a first transistor connected between a clock terminal and an output terminal, a second transistor for charging a control electrode of the first transistor in response to activation of an output signal of the preceding stage, a third transistor for discharging the control electrode of the first transistor, an inverter using a control electrode of the third transistor as an output end, and a fourth transistor which discharges an input end of the inverter at power-off and is turned off after power-on. A fifth transistor which is a load element of the inverter charges the control electrode of the third transistor at power-on. It is thereby possible to initialize the respective levels of the nodes without any external initialization signal and prevent a decrease in the level change rate of the output signal in the shift register circuit.
