  • Publication number: 20140233989
Abstract: Electrostatic image graduations inclined by a first angle in a main scanning direction are formed on a photosensitive drum and transferred to an intermediate transfer belt, electrostatic image graduations inclined by a second angle in the main scanning direction are formed on the photosensitive drum and transferred to the intermediate transfer belt so as to overlap with the electrostatic image graduations inclined by the first angle. The electrostatic image graduations inclined by the first angle are detected by a Ch1 conducting wire having a linear conductive member inclined by the first angle in the main scanning direction of the intermediate transfer belt. The electrostatic image graduations inclined by the second angle are detected by a Ch2 conducting wire having a linear conductive member inclined by the second angle in the main scanning direction of the intermediate transfer belt.

  • Patent number: 8750771
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a first index forming unit that forms a plurality of first electrostatic latent image indexes at positions adjacent to a toner image to be formed on a recording material in a width direction of a first image bearing member and a second index forming unit forms a plurality of second electrostatic latent image indexes at positions adjacent to a toner image to be formed on the recording material in a width direction of a second image bearing member. A control unit controls operation of at least a second image forming unit so as to maintain a set positional relationship between the first electrostatic latent image indexes transferred to an intermediate transfer member and the second electrostatic latent image indexes based on detection results by first and second detection units.

  • Patent number: 4967896
Abstract: A control arrangement for an automatic vending machine includes a price memory device for preliminarily storing selling prices of commodities, a coin signal output section for outputting coin signals upon insertion of coils, a sum calculating device for calculating a sum of inserted coins in response to the coin signals, a difference calculating device for calculating a difference between the sum of the inserted coins and the selling price, a device for calculating the required number of coins for change by dividing the difference by the sum of coins of the same denomination, and a device for judging vendibility at the selling price based on whether or not the required number of coins for the change is present. In this way, the vendibility of all commodities may be determined according to their selling prices without successively subtracting the value of change to paid out for each increment of selling price, and prior to the actual vending of the commodity.

  • Patent number: 4834231
Abstract: A vending machine includes a plurality of selection switches corresponding to a plurality of items to be sold respectively, and in response to insertion of coins and the subsequent operation of any of selection switches, the item corresponding to the selection switch is vended. A RAM is installed associatedly with a microcomputer, and this RAM contains memory areas for storing the sales quantity and the sales amount on item basis, and these data are renewed at every vending. The RAM further contains a price memory area for storing the sales price of each item. When any of selection switches is operated in ready state of the machine, the price of the item corresponding to that selection switch is read from the RAM and is displayed on the inserted-amount display. Furthermore, when a selection switch is depressed in the state when the management mode is set up, the price of the item corresponding to that switch is displayed likewise.

  • Patent number: 4803682
Abstract: A resetting system including a main CPU for an apparatus, and a slave CPU for controlling a terminal portion of the apparatus in association with a watch-dog timer, wherein the main CPU outputs for a predetermined period of time a strobe signal to be supplied to the watch-dog timer, which outputs a reset signal for resetting both the main CPU and slave CPU when the periodical supplying of strobe signals is stopped, indicating an abnormal state of the main CPU. The slave CPU sends a response data corresponding to a command from the main CPU, whereby the main CPU judges as a communication error a response data not in conformity with a predetermined format and, upon the generation of a number of communication errors in succession, the slave CPU is reset by a reset signal outputted from the main CPU.

  • Patent number: 4627056
Abstract: A check system for a control board having a microcomputer includes a checker which is actuated by a check program provided with the microcomputer. At each time line shift signals are generated, all input signal levels of the respective input connectors of the control board, except for the given connector, are detected to output at check output connectors signal levels corresponding to the input signal levels in the input line check. The respective output connectors of the control board, except for the certain connector, are rendered in active states, in sequence, in an output line check. The system thus detects an abnormal state disposed between the terminals of the microcomputer and the connectors of the control board.
