Abstract: Flour blends are described containing waxy wheat flour and are suitable for the preparation of breads, cakes, or noodles. These flour blends make it possible to obtain foods which do not show degraded texture after prolonged storage, and which particularly provide an excellent texture when consumed after being frozen and thawed.

Abstract: An automobile weather strip having a main body made of a sulfur-vulcanizable ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM) type compound and having a portion designed to be in contact with a sealer when the weather strip is mounted to an automobile. A sealer underlying layer is included that will be in contact with the sealer with that layer comprised of a bondability improving EPDM type compound and coextruded together with the main body. The bondability improving EPDM type compound is based on a blended polymer having a blending ratio:______________________________________ EPDM type polymer 60-96 wt % NBR type polymer 2-30 wt % hydrogenated SBR type polymer 2-30 wt %. ______________________________________A practical bondability can be ensured between the weather strip and the sealer with no pretreatment, such as by buff fabrication, to a portion of the weather strip to be abutted to or in contact with the sealer.

Abstract: A device for guiding a wire harness connected to a steering column, includes a protector for accomodating a slacken part of the wire harness therein and two half cylindrical ribs elastically formed in the protector. In operation, when the slacken part is expanded, the ribs serve to urge the slacken part to recover the original configuration before being expanded.

Abstract: A roof-side weather strip is provided to be attached along a front pillar of a motor vehicle. The weather strip has a base portion adapted to be engaged with the front pillar, and a tubular sealing portion projecting from a front end part of the base portion for closing a gap between the front pillar and a front end edge of the door frame. A rib-shaped projection is formed integrally with a bottom of the tubular sealing portion so as to project within the tubular sealing portion. In the lower end portion of the roof-side weather strip, the seal wall of the sealing portion is bonded to a top end of the rib-shaped projection so that the seal wall has a reduced height relative to that of the remaining portions thereof, and has a configuration conforming to the approaching track of the front end edge of the door frame when a door of the vehicle is closed.
