Abstract: [Object] An object of the present technology is to provide a haptic-feedback presenting apparatus, a haptic-feedback presenting system, and a haptic-feedback presenting method capable of presenting information mapped in space without vision and audition. [Solving Means] A haptic-feedback presenting apparatus according to the present technology includes a mapping-information acquisition part, a region detection part, and a haptic-feedback arithmetic part. The mapping-information acquisition part acquires mapping information that is information mapped in space. The region detection part sets a detection-target region, and determines whether or not the mapping information included in the detection-target region is a threshold or more. The haptic-feedback arithmetic part calculates a haptic feedback to be presented to a user on the basis of a determination result from the region detection part.

  • Publication number: 20160188160
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a 3D(three dimensional)-matrix arranging portion and a luminance/transmittance display controller portion. When a plurality of contents are list-displayed, the 3D-matrix arranging portion arranges the plurality of contents in a 3D-matrix-like form (“3D-matrix,” hereinbelow) in accordance with predetermined three axes. The 3D matrix includes a plurality of planes each containing a group of contents of the plurality of contents. The luminance/transmittance display controller portion displays on a display portion the respective groups of contents of the plurality of contents arranged in the 3D matrix, in a manner that luminance is gradually reduced in a direction from contents on a front-most plane of the plurality of planes to contents on a rear-most plane, and transmittance is gradually increased in the direction from the contents on the front-most plane to the contents on the rear-most plane.

  • Patent number: 9037987
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a user evaluation value table and a display controller portion. In the user evaluation value table, user evaluation values each corresponding to the number of processes of the respective content are stored on a basis of the respective content. When performing display changing of a respective content intended for display on a display portion, the controller portion detects from the user evaluation value table a user evaluation value of a content intended to be graphically displayed on the display portion. Then, the controller portion performs change control to change a display time period for the content intended to be graphically displayed on the display portion in accordance with the detected user evaluation value.

  • Patent number: 8620019
Abstract: Automatically preparing communications for transmission by a mobile terminal device. In one example, this includes storing contact information including personal contacts and associated address and face image information. A face image is extracted from within a still image content to obtain an extracted face image. The extracted face image is linked to a given personal contact among the personal contacts by finding a match corresponding to the extracted face image among previously extracted face images found in the stored contact information. The given personal contact is correlated to address information using the contact information, and a message is automatically prepared for transmission to the given personal contact using the address information.

  • Patent number: 8341539
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a content detector portion, a display controller portion, an operation state detector portion, and a popup display controller portion. The content detector portion detects contents belonging to a same time range from different types of contents. The display controller portion collects the contents detected by the content detector portion and belonging to the same time range, displays content-related graphical information of the respective contents collected in units of the respective time range, and displays on the display portion a selector. The operation state detector portion detects an operation state of an operation portion. After detecting a predetermined operation state, the popup display controller portion detects a content having past time information with respect to the time information of the selected content, and popup displays content-related graphical information of the detected content on the display portion.

  • Patent number: 8264463
Abstract: An input device inputs information by a slide operation depending on an operation body. The device contains a housing having an operation surface, a detection unit that is provided in the housing and includes an electrostatic capacitance sheet member which detects a slide position of the operation body to output a position detection signal, and an operation unit that covers an entire surface of the detection unit and is slide-operated along the operation surface of the housing. The operation unit has a convex shape which becomes thicker along a sliding direction from one direction of the operation surface of the housing and also which becomes thinner toward the other direction of the operation surface thereof. The electrostatic capacitance sheet member includes a switch portion that is switched by a press-in operation of the operation body to the operation unit.

  • Patent number: 7505799
Abstract: A mobile phone terminal is provided in which first and second housings can be set to open and close states via a hinge portion. In the case that the terminal is at least in the close state and an electronic wallet function is locked, when side keys, namely, an “F” key, and a camera key, are depressed in an authentication registration sequence, then an electronic wallet lock can be temporarily released. On the other hand, in the case that the terminal is in the open state, when a personal ID number is input by using, for example, ten keys provided on the first housing, then the electronic wallet lock can be released. Thereby, in the mobile electronic apparatus enabling the apparatus shape to be changed, a security function is maintained, and concurrently, the lock of the electronic wallet function can be easily and speedily released.
