    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program capable of interpolating a gain of a pixel value of a phase difference detection pixel using a gain value even in the case of generating a display image requiring a real-time property. An image processing apparatus (60) sequentially obtains each frame image in time series order of a motion picture and calculates a gain value to be used in gain interpolation of a pixel value of a phase difference detection pixel of a current frame image based on a past frame image obtained in the time series order. The image processing apparatus (60) interpolates the pixel value of the phase difference detection pixel of the current frame image using the gain value.

The ecological driving evaluation portion is configured to determine an ecological driving evaluation value based on at least the set temperature evaluation value. The notification portion is configured to notify the occupant of the ecological driving evaluation value. The level of power saving rises with change of the set temperature evaluation value or the ecological driving evaluation value. When the set temperature is changed, and the change of the set temperature causes increase of the level of power saving without decrease in power consumption of the vehicular air conditioner, the set temperature evaluation portion changes the set temperature evaluation value in the one of positive and negative directions.

The Gr pixels and the Gb pixels which are distinguished from each other are separately mixed. When an image before pixel mixture has a high-frequency component, the level of the Gr pixel and the level of the Gb pixel are different from each other after pixel mixture. It is determined whether the image before pixel mixture has a high-frequency component based on levels of the Gr pixel and Gb pixel after pixel mixture.
