  • Patent number: 9855013
Abstract: A radiography system includes an imaging controller, a reconstruction processor, a process sequence controller and a display section. The imaging controller controls a radiation source to move in a range of a designated sweep angle and project X-rays at different angles to an imaging subject, while controlling a flat panel detector to acquire a set of projection images. The reconstruction processor uses the set of projection images to produce a plurality of tomographic images for use in diagnosis. The process sequence controller determines a parameter for sorting the plurality of tomographic images into first and second groups according to the sweep angle of the radiation source so as the first group of tomographic images to be produced prior to the second group of tomographic images. The display section displays at least the first group of tomographic images.

  • Publication number: 20140160591
Abstract: A storage apparatus has a first storage device in which the user data is stored and a second storage device which the management information including a primary hash value corresponding to the data management unit including a user data is stored for every data management unit. The storage apparatus (A) receives a read request, acquires a primary hash value of a first management unit which is a data management unit including read target user data from the second storage device, (B) reads data of the first management unit from the first storage device, (C) computes the primary hash value based on the data of the data management unit which is read, (D) determines whether the primary hash value in (A), and the primary hash value in (C) are in agreement, and (E) sends the read target user data to a upper level apparatus when the agreement is obtained.

  • Patent number: 8327184
Abstract: Unique information including a logical type name is stored in a user data area of a management area as a media of the alternative disk drive to become an alternative of the storage device. Upon using the alternative disk drive, a disk controller reads the unique information of the alternative disk drive, and determines that copy back is unnecessary when the rotating speed and capacity belonging to the unique information of the alternative disk drive are the same as the rotating speed and capacity of the failed disk drive belonging to RAID, and otherwise determines that copy back is necessary.

  • Patent number: 7975168
Abstract: If a failure occurs in any of a plurality of data disks, and if a controller receives a read request from a host computer for the RAID group including the failed data disk, the controller performs data recovery using data stored in the other data disks in the RAID group, and transmits the recovered data to the host computer and also writes the recovered data to a spare disk.

  • Patent number: 7730474
Abstract: When the main power source is turned on, a storage system creates a revision table for storing the revision of main firmware installed in a resource management processor of the storage system. Next, the main firmware is loaded from a system drive into a cache memory. When the revision of the main firmware installed in the resource management processor is old, this main firmware is renewed to the main firmware loaded into the cache.

  • Publication number: 20100023847
Abstract: A subject of the invention is to propose a storage subsystem assuring high reliability and not impairing processing performance. The invention is a storage subsystem which includes a storage device including a hard disk drive and a controller for controlling an access to the storage device in response to a predetermined access command transmitted from a host computer. The storage subsystem stores, in response to a write request transmitted from the host computer, data associated with the write request together with its parity in the storage device as well as verifies the validity of the data stored in the storage device independently of a response to the write request and, when there is an abnormality in the data, repairs the abnormal data.

  • Patent number: 7480820
Abstract: The present invention proposes a disk array apparatus that can be inexpensively constructed while maintaining its high reliability, and also proposes a method for controlling the disk array apparatus, and a program. In the disk array apparatus, a storage area in a storage device for storing system information is managed by dividing the storage area into a system area for storing system information and a data area for storing data from a host device, and verification processing is executed on the data area in the storage device in a first cycle and on the system area in a second cycle that is shorter than the first cycle.
