  • Patent number: 9447911
Abstract: An adjustable frame assembly for filter modules includes a lower base arrangement, an upper base arrangement, and an adjustable frame structure connected between the lower and upper base arrangements. Both the lower and upper base arrangements include mounts for positioning and supporting the filter modules. At least one of the base arrangements includes a piping system for supplying fluid to and/or receiving fluid from the filter modules. The adjustable frame structure is moveable between a first position, in which the lower and upper base arrangements are spaced a smaller first distance apart, and a second position, in which the lower and upper base arrangements are spaced a larger second distance apart. Filter modules may be mounted to the adjustable frame assembly when the adjustable frame structure is in the second position to form a filter apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9341304
Abstract: A modular filtration frame assembly is provided for holding components of a pipe system and filtration system. The modular frame assembly comprises a skid formed by a base and a central spine. The base has at least two legs and at least one lateral support disposed between the two legs, and the central spine has two uprights and at least one cross bar disposed between the two uprights. A component support member is attached to the central spine for supporting components of the pipe system. In the modular frame assembly, the base, central spine and component supports can be formed by selecting from predetermined and presized components in response to the design and size of the pipe system and filtration system. The component support member holds predetermined components of the pipe and filtration system having a predetermined centerline at the same vertical distance from the cross bar, thereby maintaining the same centerline for all pipe system components supported by the skid regardless of component diameter.

  • Patent number: 9224766
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus which is capable of suppressing changes in luminance during motion with high shutter speed while minimizing image degradation. An image pickup device accumulates electric charge corresponding to an amount of light incident thereon. An amplification unit amplifies a signal obtained as a result of accumulating electric charge in the image pickup apparatus. A control unit controls an electric charge accumulation time period in the image pickup device. An adjustment unit adjusts an amplification factor for the amplification unit. In a case where the control unit changes the electric charge accumulation time period while the image pickup device is repeatedly accumulating electric charge, the adjustment unit adjusts an amplification factor in accordance with the amount of change in the electric charge accumulation time period, and after adjustment, the adjustment unit brings the adjusted amplification factor close to an amplification factor before adjustment in steps.
