The mechanical terminal preferably includes: a case for forming an external form with a predetermined form; and a mechanical information output unit provided at one side of the case and formed with at least one mechanical structure that changes a disposition by information according to a user function of the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A protection cover for a portable terminal preferably includes a rear cover, on and from a surface of which the portable terminal is mountable and removable, and a front cover pivotally coupled to the rear cover to open or close access to the portable terminal mounted on the rear cover. Friction members may be provided on at least one of the rear cover and the front cover, respectively, in which the front cover is disposed at a predetermined angle with respect to the rear cover while facing another surface of the rear cover to support the friction members on a planar surface, thereby opening the portable terminal and cradling the portable terminal inclinedly with respect to the planar surface. The protection cover provides both a cradle and a cover in one device.

Abstract: A mobile terminal having a wide display unit is provided. The mobile terminal includes a main body having a first display unit therein. The mobile terminal includes a folder unit having a second display unit at an inner surface opposite to the first display unit. The terminal also includes a sliding unit connected to one end of the folder unit to guide the folder unit capable of performing a slide movement. The terminal includes a hinge coupler to connect the sliding unit and the main body such that the sliding unit rotates based on the main body. The folder unit positions the second display unit to be adjacent to the first display unit by performing a slide movement toward the main body when the folder unit is opened as the sliding unit rotates based on the hinge coupler, and a wide display unit is formed when a surface of the first display unit and a surface of the second display unit become in a single plane. Thereby, mobility of a mobile terminal while providing a wide display unit can be provided.

The mobile terminal includes a sub-module having a sub-function configuration unit formed with parts for performing a function and a main terminal having a display unit at a front surface and a connection unit at a rear surface for coupling the sub-module to the main terminal. A magnet is installed at a side surface of the connection unit or the sub-module, and the sub-module is coupled to the main terminal or is detached from the main terminal through the magnet. Enhancement of the portability and function quality of mobile terminals that support various functions is achieved by coupling a sub-module for performing a function to the main terminal having a display unit that allows user interactivity with the mobile terminal.
