    Abstract: A method for transferring a digital payment order from a first terminal device to a second terminal device, and for saving the payment order on a payment order server. A payment order request is sent from the first terminal device to the payment order server and, in response, the requested payment order is sent from the payment order server to the first terminal device. The payment order is thereafter transmitted from the first terminal device to the second terminal device, and the payment order is then transferred from the second terminal device to the payment order server to be honored. A message confirming the honoring of the payment order is sent to the second terminal device.
