Abstract: An electric arc roof furnace top contains a central portion and a peripheral portion surrounding the central portion. Each of these portions has an inner surface suitable for facing the furnace inner space. The inner surfaces of the peripheral and central portions form together a step so as to raise the inner surface of the central portion in relation to the inner surface of the peripheral portion with respect to the furnace inner space.

Abstract: A game having a ring with a peripheral outer surface to be engaged with and rolled over a subjacent surface supporting the ring and a pusher for propelling the ring by rolling thereof. The pusher is a rod having a proximal and a distal end with the proximal end being configured to be gripped by a user. The distal end of the rod cooperates with the ring in such a manner that the user can selectively pull and push the ring through the pusher to accelerate and decelerate rolling of the ring over the surface.

Abstract: In accordance with the present invention an electric outlet safety cover is provided comprising a base member with an aperture for placement over an electric outlet in a receptacle, a flat cover member slidably mounted relative to the base member, wherein the cover member is selectively, slidably positionable to alternatively cover and expose the aperture and thereby the electric outlet and a receiving member adjacent to the base member for receiving the cover member with the cover member positioned to expose the aperture and electric outlet.

Abstract: A traction mat is disclosed for use under a vehicle wheel to provide traction under conditions such as snow, ice, and the like. The mat includes a generally flat body having cleats which are movable relative to the body between inoperative condition substantially out of engagement with the ground and operative condition in engagement with the ground in response to the vehicle wheel moving over the mat. The cleats are disclosed as individual spike-like members reciprocally mounted within bores in respective elements of the body. The elements are formed in a series of generally parallel rows providing flexibility for the body. The spikes are axially movable relative to the body between inoperative positions and operative positions gripping the ground in response to the vehicle wheel moving over the spikes.
