  • Patent number: 10596368
Abstract: The invention relates to an implantable quadripolar electrode for sequential neurostimulation of the phrenic nerve. A matrix is provided with two branches each consisting of a hook designed to come in contact with the phrenic nerve without totally encircling it and an extension (112, 122), or strip, designed to cross the corresponding incision arranged in the pleura and fix the same on the pericardium, each hook having an orifice allowing the phrenic nerve to pass; The hooks are connected with a bridge designed to keep them at a fixed distance from each other on the longitudinal plane of said phrenic nerve and to allow the rotation of the branches in relation to one another to position the hooks around the phrenic nerve via their respective openings.

  • Patent number: 8480652
Abstract: A percutaneous gastrostomy catheter includes an internal retainer configured to be maintained pressed against the stomach wall and to disengage itself from a tubing by biodegradation; and an external flange, traversed by the tubing, configured to be pressed against an external face of the abdominal wall and exert, in cooperation with the internal retainer, a pressure adapted to press an external face of the stomach wall against an internal face of the abdominal wall. The internal retainer includes an internal flange. A first face of the internal flange is configured to be pressed against an internal face of the stomach wall, the internal flange being detachable from the tubing under the effect of a simple pulling force. The internal retainer also includes an end piece pressed against the second face of the internal flange, such that the internal flange is between the end piece and the external flange, the end piece being made of a completely biodegradable copolymer or polymer having a bond with the tubing.

  • Publication number: 20110144623
Abstract: The invention relates to a percutaneous gastrostomy probe with a tube (1), an internal retainer means (2) and an external collar (3). Said probe is substantially characterised in that the internal retention means (2) is made up of a) a collar (21), arranged against the stomach wall (4), which may be separated from the tube (1) by simply pulling, made from a non-biodegradable material selected only for the elastomeric properties thereof, b) an end piece (22), arranged against the external face of said collar (21), designed to maintain the same against the stomach wall (4), made from an entirely biodegradable polymer or copolymer the connection of which to the tube (1) has a pull apart rupture threshold as a function of the time for formation of the stoma.

  • Publication number: 20100022969
Abstract: The invention relates to a percutaneous gastrostomy probe comprising a tube (1), a means of internal retention (2) and an external collar (3). The probe according to the invention is characterized essentially in that the means of internal retention (2) consists of a non-biodegradable inflatable balloon (21) connected to separate anchorage means (22) held in place by threads (23) sutured to external points (24) and made entirely of a biodegradable polymer or copolymer such that the nature of the polymers employed, their dosage and their number molar mass are determined in such a way as to obtain a connection which maintains its mechanical properties of retention until the stomach and abdominal walls have adhered together.

  • Publication number: 20090299292
Abstract: The invention relates to a percutaneous gastrostomy probe including a tube (1), an internal retaining means (2) and an external flange (3), essentially characterised in that the internal retaining means is formed by a single flange (2) made entirely from a biodegradable copolymer The type of polymers used, the dose and molar mass in number thereof and the thickness of the flange are determined so as to produce (i) a retaining means that combines flexibility and elastomer properties and (ii) a connection between the flange (2) and the tube (1), having a tearing threshold that is a function of the stoma creation time.

  • Publication number: 20090093786
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-parameterizable method for detecting occlusion and pulling out of a tubing for ad-ministering, by enteral route, physiological liquids and to a device for carrying out said method. The inventive device comprises, in essence: a pump (1); an administering tubing (2, 3); a tri-route tubular structure (4, 5, 7) provided with an occlusion detection area (7); a computer (14) and an electromagnetic detection means (8, 9) for detecting the presence of a fluid in said detection area (7) and for detecting a pulling out of said tri-route structure; an electromagnetic detection means (15, 16) for detecting the presence of air inside the dispensing tubing and the pulling out thereof.
