  • Publication number: 20220376612
Abstract: There is described a snubber circuit comprising an electronic switch. The circuit includes an impedance network comprising reactive circuit elements to smooth energy transients if the electronic switch is turned off and if the switch is turned on. A resistive element dissipates energy released by at least one of the reactive circuit elements. The resistive element is of a load to be driven using the electronic switch. A power supply unit may include the described snubber circuit.

  • Patent number: 10114048
Abstract: Example implementations relate to circuits. For example, an implementation includes a detection circuit including a comparator circuit. The comparator circuit includes a first input terminal, a second input terminal, and an output terminal. The detection circuit also includes a reference voltage circuit to provide a set point voltage to the comparator circuit via the first input terminal. The detection circuit further includes a diode to reduce the set point voltage from a first magnitude to a second magnitude when the first magnitude is equal to or lower than a magnitude of the load voltage.

  • Patent number: 9140746
Abstract: Diagnosing the condition of an electrical system includes identifying the intended operating status of the system. An electrical consumption in the system is measured. The measured electrical consumption is compared at least with one predetermined electrical consumption that is associated to the intended operating status of the system. The condition of the system is diagnosed based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20140139234
Abstract: Diagnosing the condition of an electrical system during operation may comprise identifying the intended operating status of the system, measuring an electrical consumption in the system, comparing the measured electrical consumption at least with one predetermined electrical consumption that is associated to the intended operating status of the system, and diagnosing the condition of the system based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 8659348
Abstract: A current mirror comprises first and second sets of transistors. each of the first and second sets is a matched set comprising a first transistor and a second transistor. For each set, the base of the first transistor is directly coupled to the base of the second transistor. For one of the first and second transistors of each set the base is directly coupled to the collector. The collectors of the first and second transistors of the first set are coupled, respectively, to the emitters of the first and second transistors of the second set in series. A current output of the current mirror is coupled between the collector of the second transistor of the first set and the emitter of the second transistor of the second set.
