Publication number: 20230315840Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage mediums described herein are configured to detect anomalous post-authentication behavior/state change(s) with respect to a workload identity. For example, audit logs that specify actions performed with respect to the workload identity of a platform-based identity service, a causing state change(s), while another identity is authenticated with the platform-based identity service, are analyzed. The audit log(s) are analyzed via a model for anomaly prediction based on actions. The model generates an anomaly score indicating a probability whether a particular sequence of the actions is indicative of anomalous behavior/state change(s). A determination is made that an anomalous behavior has occurred based on the anomaly score, and when anomalous behavior has occurred, a mitigation action may be performed that mitigates the anomalous behavior.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2022Publication date: October 5, 2023Inventors: Shinesa Elaine CAMBRIC, Maria Puertas CALVO, Ye XU, Etan Micah BASSERI, Sergio Romero ZAMBRANO, Jeffrey Thomas SAKOWICZ

Patent number: 11575692Abstract: To detect identity spray attacks, a machine learning model classifies account access attempts as authorized or unauthorized, based on dozens of different pieces of information (machine learning model features). Boosted tree, neural net, and other machine learning model technologies may be employed. Model training data may include user agent reputation data, IP address reputation data, device or agent or location familiarity indications, protocol identifications, aggregate values, and other data. Account credential hash sets or hash lists may serve as model inputs. Hashes may be truncated to further protect user privacy. Classifying an access attempt as unauthorized may trigger application of multifactor authentication, password change requirements, account suspension, or other security enhancements. Statistical or heuristic detections may supplement the model.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 2020Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Sergio Romero Zambrano, Andrew Numainville, Maria Puertas Calvo, Abbinayaa Subramanian, Pui Yin Winfred Wong, Dana S. Patent number: 11228228Abstract: In a first aspect, a method of performing maintenance operations in an electrical machine is provided. The method comprises positioning the rotor in a first position; disconnecting electrical windings, removing one or more segments of an electrical conductor ring and positioning the rotor in a second position without connecting the removed segments of the electrical conductor ring. In a further aspect, a method of operating an electrical machine is also provided. In yet a further aspect, it is provided an electrical machine comprising an electrical conductor ring having a releasable segment.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 2019Date of Patent: January 18, 2022Assignee: General Electric Renovables Espana, S.L.Inventors: Sergio Romero Perez, Julio César Urresty

Patent number: 10253954Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a biased engagement relationship between an end cap and a support base slidably disposed within the elongate enclosure of a luminaire. In an illustrative example, the end cap may be in a fixed relationship to an open end of a translucent elongate enclosure that extends along a longitudinal axis. In some examples, the enclosure may house an LED light engine mounted to the support base. A spring may provide, for example, biased engagement relationship between the end cap and the support base over a predetermined range sufficient to prevent direct force transfer between the end cap and the support base over operating temperature ranges and/or vibration profiles. Some embodiments may dynamically damp vibrations of the support base within the enclosure, while providing for differential expansion and contraction of the enclosure and the support base, for example, over a wide temperature range.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2015Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Assignee: Banner Engineering Corp.Inventors: Sergio Romero Garcia, Bob Schlosser

Patent number: 9803446Abstract: A mechanical lockdown system for a subsea wellhead connector includes a lockdown member or plate that engages with a tie rod that is connected to the wellhead assembly. The lockdown system includes a support member that is permanently secured to an annular ring through which the tie rod passes. The lockdown system also includes a first handle and a second handle that are installed using a plunger or spring loaded system such that mechanical lockdown system can be easily moved from a lockdown open position to a lockdown engaged position as and when desired with minimal ROV interface.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2015Date of Patent: October 31, 2017Assignee: VETCO GRAY INC.Inventors: Rockford Dee Lyle, Irving Jair Villasenor, Viviana Resendiz, Sergio Romero
