  • Publication number: 20220116737
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for providing content based on context. An example method may comprise receiving, from a user device, a request comprising data indicative of a location of the user device. The method may comprise determining, based on receiving the request, user information associated with a user of the user device. The method may comprise generating, based on the user information and the data indicative of the location, an information profile relevant to a context of the user at the location. The method may comprise transmitting, to the user device, the information profile.

  • Patent number: 7728304
Abstract: A method is provided for fabricating contacts on semiconductor substrates by direct lithography that results in durable adhesion of the electrodes, increased interpixel resistance and the electrodes which act as a blocking contact, thereby providing for improved energy resolution in a resultant radiation detector.

  • Patent number: 6807340
Abstract: A dispersion compensator has a linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating mounted at two ends of an elongated, channel-shaped heat distributor. The distributor has two thermo-electric coolers at two ends, a heating strip for uniform heating of the distributor, a temperature sensor mounted on the distributor in the middle of the grating region, and longitudinally variable heating means attached to the distributor and extending along its length for effecting a longitudinally varying heating of the grating region. The provision of the heating strip helps maintain linearity of the thermal gradient of the distributor while the longitudinally variable heaters facilitate relatively fast dithering of the temperature of the grating region.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 28, 2002
Date of Patent: October 19, 2004
    Assignee: JDS Uniphase Inc.
Inventors: Henry Postolek, Graham Ian Duck, Nenad Duricic, Gonzalo de la Puente, Tinko Eftimov, Dan Grobnic, David William Charles Markin, Martin Matthews, Evgueni A. Ponomarev, Serguei Roupassov, Dariusz Sieniawski
