  • Publication number: 20220137821
Abstract: Methods and systems for multi-device, multi-channel cloud-based differential data synchronization. The system includes a server system, a source device including a first migration application instance, the source device configured to execute the first migration application instance to initiate a data transfer process with the server system to transfer user data to the server system upon a user ordering a target device, and the target device including a second migration application instance, the target device configured to execute the second migration application instance to initiate a data transfer process with the server system to transfer the user data to the target device, and execute a second data transfer with the source device to finalize data synchronization when the user is picking up the target device.

  • Publication number: 20160334177
Abstract: This invention relates to firearms having magazine wells for the insertion of ammunition magazines and, in its most basic forms, combines an appropriately sized and located magazine well ammunition monitoring port or aperture with either an interfacing port/aperture on the magazine to be inserted or a substantially transparent magazine or magazine portion such that the final rounds of ammunition in the magazine can be monitored. In its preferred embodiments, a vertical slot with a transparent cover is used, with the slot having markings to allow the user of the firearm to track and/or determine the remaining “end” rounds in the magazine.

  • Patent number: 7496881
Abstract: Embodiments of mask validation using simulated resist contours are presented herein. The mask validation system disclosed utilizes simulated resist contour of a mask useable for semiconductor device manufacture to validate printed resist geometries. The mask validation system further allows for the sampling of photolithographic simulations of the mask to obtain sampling points to form the simulated contours.

  • Publication number: 20050195354
Abstract: The present invention relates to a display film that may be transferred by lamination or otherwise onto a substrate. The display film is formed of a stack of layers that can include different types, arrangements, and functionality within the stack depending upon factors including the characteristics of the substrate (e.g., upper or lower, transparent or opaque, substrates) and addressing of the display (e.g., active or passive matrix, electrical or optical addressing). The layers of the stacked display film include one or more electrode layers and one or more liquid crystal layers and, in addition, may include various combinations of an adhesive layer, preparation layer, casting layer, light absorbing layer, insulation layers, and protective layers. The liquid crystal layer can include cholesteric or other liquid crystal material. The liquid crystal layer can be a dispersion of liquid crystal in a polymer matrix formed by a variety of techniques.
