  • Publication number: 20240172591
Abstract: A self-propelled harvester is disclosed. The self-propelled harvester includes a mounting device, which has a feed means for harvested material, for mounting an attachment on the harvester. An adapter unit may be detachably arranged between the mounting device and the attachment, such that the adapter unit is designed to couple the attachment to the mounting device. Further, the adapter unit may be configured to adjust an inclination of the attachment with respect to the mounting device in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction.

  • Patent number: 9706697
Abstract: An agricultural system includes a baler for picking up and compressing crop from a crop swath in a field and a tow tractor. The baler is towed by the tow tractor via a draft hitch arrangement, which draft hitch arrangement allows a baler pickup track to be laterally offset from the tractor driving track with respect to the tractor driving direction. During baling, the baler pickup track is aligned to the crop swath for picking up crop and the tractor driving track is laterally spaced from the crop swath with respect to the tractor driving direction. A steering system autonomously aligns the baler pickup track onto the crop swath.

  • Publication number: 20150082760
Abstract: A method for operating a snapping device to harvest stalk crop relies upon stripper plates disposed in pairs and having a variable spacing therebetween. A snapping gap is formed by or in the variable spacing. Plant stalks are drawn into the snapping gap to sever crop fruit from crop stalks by the stripper plates. The diameter of the crop stalks is determined before entry into the snapping gap by a sensor device disposed in front of the snapping gap. A width of the snapping gap is adjusted depending on the diameter value that is determined.
