  • Publication number: 20240114601
Abstract: An induction cooktop includes an upper plate glass on which a cooking container is placed, a working coil generating a magnetic field to heat the cooking container, an inverter driven to flow a current through the working coil, an impedance calculation unit calculating the impedance of the cooking container on the basis of a parameter of the inverter, and an overheated state determination unit determining whether the cooking container is overheated, based on the impedance.

  • Publication number: 20240107634
Abstract: A cooktop includes a memory that stores material classification data; a measurement unit that acquires output values for each frequency in a search frequency range; and a material determination unit that compares the output values with the material classification data so as to obtain the material information of the cooking container.

  • Patent number: 8461274
Abstract: The invention pertains to the redistribution of cyclic and linear polysiloxanes by a method comprising contacting and heating a surfactant, wherein the surfactant is the salt of a protonated amine or a quaternary amine compound, an aqueous hydrochloric acid solution and a silicone, wherein the silicone is a silicon hydrolysate, D5, or DO. When the method of the invention is conducted with silicone hydrolysate, it eliminates the need to separate the silicone hydrolysate into its linear and cyclic constituents prior to redistribution.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 14, 2009
Date of Patent: June 11, 2013
    Assignee: Dow Corning Corporation
Inventors: Christopher Darren Gatti, Seungbok Park
