  • Patent number: 10223261
Abstract: A lightweight architecture for an aliased memory operation includes loading data by performing an aliased memory operation, and storing data by performing an aliased memory operation, the loading of data by performed by an aliased memory operation that includes: requesting an aliased address through an HAT without a specific operation for converting an address by means of a CPU processor, converting an address input through the HAT into an aliased address in response to the request for an aliased address, stopping the aliased memory operation through the HAT and calling up a miss handler when the conversion of an address into an aliased address in response to the request for an aliased address fails, and loading data by accessing an SAT using the aliased address when conversion of an address into an aliased address succeeds.

  • Patent number: 7863548
Abstract: A method for preventing overheating of a microwave oven includes receiving information of a cooking condition and a cooking start command for current cooking, the cooking condition including a magnetron output level and a current cooking period, confirming pause duration from when preceding cooking was finished to when the current cooking is started, if it is determined that the magnetron output level is a preset magnetron output level or more, and determining a basic output period and a reference period for changing the magnetron output level corresponding to the confirmed pause duration, followed by operating the microwave oven at the preset magnetron output level after changing the magnetron output level to the preset magnetron output level, if it is determined that a driving period for changing the magnetron output level has passed the determined reference period.

  • Patent number: 7420145
Abstract: A method for preventing overheating of a microwave oven including a controller for controlling an output level of a magnetron is disclosed. The method includes: a) receiving information of cooking conditions and a cooking start command input by a user, the cooking conditions including an output level of the magnetron for subsequent cooking, b) detecting a pausing period of time from a time of finishing preceding cooking to a time of starting the subsequent cooking if it is determined that the output level of the magnetron is greater than a preset output level thereof, and c) operating the microwave oven at the preset output level after changing the output level to the preset output level according to the detected pausing period. According to this method, components of the microwave oven are effectively prevented from being overheated while maintaining cooking efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7164106
Abstract: A toaster-cum-microwave oven includes a toasting chamber, a heating device, a humidity measuring device for measuring an inside humidity of the toasting chamber and producing a humidity signal indicating the measured inside humidity, a switching device for selectively cutting or allowing a power supply to the heating device, and a controlling device. The controlling device receives the humidity signal, calculates a rate of change of humidity using the humidity signal, compares the rate of change of humidity with a predetermined value, and controls the switching device to cut the power supply to the heating device after a remaining cooking time has lapsed if the rate of change of humidity is equal to or greater than the predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20040262300
Abstract: A toaster-cum-microwave oven includes a toasting chamber, a heating device, a temperature measuring device for measuring an inside temperature of the toasting chamber and producing a temperature signal indicating the measured inside temperature, a switching device for selectively cutting or allowing a power supply to the heating device, and a controlling device. The controlling device receives the temperature signal, determines an amount of heat required to cook the bread product, calculates an amount of heat supplied to the bread product by using the inside temperature of the toasting chamber, compares the supplied amount of heat with the required amount of heat, and controls the switching device to cut the power supply to the heating device if the supplied amount of heat is equal to or greater than the required amount of heat.
