    Abstract: A method, a device, and a system for real-time publish subscribe (RTPS) discovery based on a distributed hash table (DHT) are provided. The method for RTPS discovery based on a DHT includes: registering, by a participant peer of participants, the participants in a distributed hash table (DHT) of an overlay network; obtaining location information on relative participants to be discovered from the DHT; sharing information on entities of the relative participants by exchanging a discovery message with the participant peer based on the location information on the obtained relative participants; and performing handshaking between the entities of the participants and the entities of the relative participants. Therefore, the exemplary embodiments of the present invention can rapidly and efficiently perform the discover of the participants based on the DHT.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a lightweight multicast method and apparatus for a data distribution service. The lightweight multicast apparatus includes a network congestion detection unit for multicasting packets to a plurality of subscriber node terminals, and detecting a cause of network congestion using a negative response message transferred from a relevant subscriber node terminal that could not receive the packets among the plurality of subscriber node terminals. A network recovery control unit determines a recovery control policy depending on the cause of the congestion detected by the network congestion detection unit, and solves the cause of the congestion.

The present invention integrally models a first system for controlling the response time of CPU operations and a second system for controlling the response time of accessing a storage medium using a MIMO structure and simultaneously controls the response time of the CPU operation and the response time of accessing the storage medium through the configuration by the integrated modeling. According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to more efficiently control the response time than an existing feedback control method.

    Abstract: A method includes, when a passage network connecting at least one first communication entity in a first local domain with at least one second communication entity in a second local domain does not support the broadcast scheme and the multicast scheme, transmitting, by a first discovery gateway, a discovery request to a second discovery gateway, which is one of all discovery gateways connected with the first discovery gateway, in the second local domain via the passage network. Even when a passage network that does not support broadcasting and multicasting is between two communication entities, the method enables a communication entity to search for connection information about a counterpart communication entity without information required for communication entities requiring interaction on a network to connect with each other, thereby performing a function such as data exchange and service provision at a global level.

The method includes the steps of registering at least one context-aware service (CAS); determining whether sensors associated with the CAS are registered; when all the sensors are registered, checking all contexts associated with the CAS; upon receipt of a CAS request, receiving context information from the sensors and determining whether the context information satisfies the contexts; and providing the CAS if the context information satisfies at least one of the contexts. With the flexible engine determining whether to provide service corresponding to a current context even though all context information constituting the CAS is not collected, information is quickly provided upon receipt of a service request from a user.
